I purchased this splitter to replace a bronze unit that corroded badly in my coastal salt air.I hope this heavy plastic body will resist corroding and the turn valve stems seem to be a much better design. It connected easily into place and all threaded connections seem well built.

Works well and no leaking when I turn the valve off. Been outside in the sun and rain for a couple months now and still looks new.

Purchased this and lasted only 2 years 6 month. It started leaking around the aluminum to plastic connection after 2 years.I really liked it because I'm older and the knobs are easier to turn. But for the cost it's too expensive to buy another one.

Works great for separating multiple watering areas. On Sturdiness I gave it a 4 since the frost came and broke it. So only have it on during spring and summer.

I've had many of those brass 4 way splitters with the little brass valve knobs that invariably become hard to turn, become hard on the fingers, eventually begin to leak, and with outlets that spread out on each end making the end hoses stick out way too far.I was a bit hesitant to switch to this valve, but was glad I did. The nobs are large and comfortable to the fingers -- and turn very smoothly. The outlets are all pointed in the same direction without spreading of the outlets on each side. This keeps the hoses neatly aligned. A very nice valve.The only concern I have is for the zinc alloy male threaded hose connectors - hoping they don't eventually become corroded or brittle - making hose connections more difficult or making the connections difficult to remove. To help prevent this, I coated the threads with waterproof silicone grease just before attaching the hose -- making the hose connection as smooth as the valve operation and hopefully making the splitter easy to disassemble for the winter. It also has several mounting holes for attachment to the a wall or - in my case - a deck post.I'd highly recommend this over the brass valves and will be replacing my older brass ones as they too become too hard to operate or their valve controls start leaking.

Using this in a shared community garden and after 5 weeks, it's been great. It's bright, very easy to dial the individual hose links, and no leaks. I also keep this on a always on drip irrigation system and haven't had any leaks, or pressure issues. Everyone finds it simple to figure out and use. Highly recommend this product.

This splitter was so easy to install and works like a charm. No visible water dripping/leakage and the general control knob is so easy to turn into position. Same with the 2 other control levers.Well worth the purchase - highly recommended!

I've replaced many hose splitters over the years due to cheap quality materials... looks like this one will be my last purchase; good quality.
