I was tempted to go cheap but so glad I didn't. No complaints. It cut a lot of previous noise and is working perfectly with 8 pedals, no less than 3 digital, and with no signal/volume drop.

I had a defective power cord and I contacted VooDoo Labs. They responded immediately and shipped a replacement which arrived in 2 days. Superb customer service. No issues whatsoever with the power supply; it powers my pedal board.

I have several Voodoo Labs units for various pedalboard setups. They are a great company.That said, this X8 uses a small, in-line cable and block sort of deal as its power supply. NOT an IEC cable and jack like most of their other products, which makes it a bit cumbersome if you are used to an IEC cable that gives a cleaner install and setup for pedalboards. This wasn't shown or explained in the pics or description at the time of my purchase so, surprise!The customer service is AMAZING though. Specifically Ben Resnick. He offered a link to a small adapter cable that creates an IEC socket. I'm finally getting up to a full board's worth of pedals of all shapes and sizes, but with that comes the issue of powering them all safely and efficiently. Up until now I was using cheap daisy chain cables and getting a lot of signal interference and noise, but all that went away completely the moment I hooked this up. Now I can crank the heck outta my pedals without fear, even without my noise gate active I don't hear anything that isn't coming from my hands on the guitar strings. Just got it, will hopefully remember to update this if my opinion changes for any reason.
