Wow, do I wish I'd found these trays two moves ago!!! I hate moving and have (fingers crossed) done it for the last time. I enjoy color, and making a space my own, but the painting part is a pain. Those flimsy tray liners are annoying. It's hard to get the paint on the roller the way you want because the bumps aren't firm enough, and you can't apply pressure because the liner will slide on the tray. These trays are firm enough to use as stand alone trays but flexible enough to fit in a metal tray if that's what you prefer. The design of the tray is convenient. there are notches to keep the roller where you put it when you need to reposition. The kit even contains a nice roller which is a bonus. The trays are the real star here though. The notches are all around the edges and the ridges are firm enough to shed excess paint when get too much on the roller. The paint will get in the channels down the sides if you overfill, but it's not a big deal.Do yourself a favor and get these trays before your next painting project. Painting takes so much time to do it right, and it's not cheap. You will dislike it a little less if you have these trays.

This is a great pack to have on hand, and I know I will use them. However, they’re kind of in that awkward midpoint between disposable and permanent. They are too sturdy and full-featured for me to feel OK throwing them away like pan liners. I wash them to reuse (so this pack will last me a very long time). But, they are not as sturdy as the hard plastic roller pan I’ve had for a decade or so. I cannot carry these one-handed with the roller as I move around a room, because they flex. They also do not have as deep of a well to hold a full wall’s worth of paint.I love that they wash well though — the dried paint doesn’t seem to stick to them as much as to my old scratched-up plastic pan. They will be great for those projects with oil-based paint or stain, where I need a full roller pan enough that I’m willing to throw this away afterward rather than cleaning with solvents. They will also be good for those times I’m letting my kids help with paint projects — they are not stubbornly attached to a specific type of old paint pan like their mom! 😄

I have used this product in a complete revamp of four rooms in my house. I LOVE the roller holder in particular. No more struggling to get a roller on or off. This product is the best I have ever used. The paint bins could be used as a paint tray by themselves or with a liner in them. I have done both. I have to say, I started putting liners in them so they will last longer. I would give this product 10 stars if I could. Strongly recommend!

I am in the process of redoing my bathroom and needed a simple paint kit for the walls. This has been great. The set comes with 11 pans and a roller. The pans were decently sturdy and do the job well. I like that it's a contrasting color. It really allows you to see what needs to be washed off when it's time to clean up. I try to reuse my pans as much as possible so this is a great feature for me. These are not the flimsy liner type trays nor are they the super sturdy ones. These are middle of the road. Perfect in my opinion. The roller is also pretty sturdy and rolls well too. Nice buy for home reno projects.

These paint trays feel so well-made that I'm sure my wife will refuse to throw any of them away as she works her way through repainting the rooms in our house. They are definitely more durable than whatever brand of trays we have purchased at home improvement stores over the years. The roller handle is sturdy and rolls smoothly, and of course it has the threaded hole on the end so you can attach an extension as needed (first thing I checked for). Overall a great set to support us as we finally paint over all of the builder's grade (aka cheap white) paint in our house.

This paint tray is different from most I've used. The average tray has an angle that you use to rollthe roller in to get excess paint off the roller. That'sgood. This try however doesn't get those point but it's deeperin general thus making it safer from spills.I like this a lot. It's not perfect. The roller pads are for rougher surfaces which isfine for people needing that. The entire set is an overall good value.

Very nice trays. They are sturdy when used on their own or inside of a different tray as a liner-- not like the dollar store kind. They came wrapped up, no lint or strays hairs to be found. The roller is comfortable to use, though did take a few rolls up and down to move smoothly as you'd expect. I'd suggest spinning it a few times before putting your roll on and starting with your work.To be clear, the listing is worded weird: it is a 10 pack of trays with an 11th item, which is the roller.

The quality? INCREDIBLE! I can’t get enough of how good these are! They are not as rigid as a standard black paint tray and are so much thicker than a liner. These are a great in between investment. I am not one to bother with liners so I would definitely say these are ideal for me. The tray has enough give to easily pour paint back in a pail after use but has the structure you need to be able to safely hold the tray and paint. The roller that accompanies the set is a nice quality as well and glides smoothly. I feel like it’s an added bonus to the already amazing trays.5 stars.
