This replaced a cheaper model that only lasted 10 months with a family of 2 using the refrigerator.They perfectly fit in the plastic Whirlpool bracket and the wiring harness was a snap off and on with ease.These are brighter than the prior lights and hopefully will last a long time.

Too soon to tell the last ones we got from a different manufacturer only lasted four months. That’s not a good thing. There are reviews on this. We’re a little better so asked me this question is six months. The lights himself aren’t hard to install the cover casing around. It is difficult to get off very difficult to get off.

They have only been in for a week but they seem to be working perfectly. This resolved my issue of the lights flashing and then ultimately they went dim. The manufacturer doesn’t make replacing the lights easy. First thing I had to do was remove the Phillips screws towards the rear of the fridge. Then pull the light lens down from where the screw was as it has tabs toward the front holding it in place. Then use a butter knife to pry the front of the housing down toward the rear. So the base of the light is opposite of the lens. I thought something might break but fortunately it didn’t. Replacing the LED modules was easy and intuitive. Then just put it back together.

High quality. Same part number as the original Whirlpool part# 55-4Q184-401. Lights are brighter than the original and nice 6000K color tone! Good luck getting the housing removed. It's going to feel like it's going to break when you pry it lose!

These are great. If your led fridge lights are flickering, don’t replace the entire module from whirlpool. Save a lot of money and just buy the lights. Perfect fit and exactly the same as the original.

Arrived fast, great price, work perfectly. Hot glued it in over the tabs. Time will tell if it lasts.My pictures shows what happened to the factory original Whirlpool one that broke.A crack formed in one of the led ceramics.
