At 170-180 degrees the oven wouldn’t work and threw error code F8E0 Cooling Fan Speed Too Low. I read threads for my KitchenAid model (and similar) but wasn’t sure I could tackle the job so I called an appliance repair company. They sent someone out who didn’t speak English well and he was checking parts that were not the problem. He called a manager to interpret and basically said he didn’t feel comfortable taking the top off as there were too many pieces that could break so I said well if he can’t fix it have him pack up and I’ll find someone else. So he left. I called another company that had good reviews but when I explained the problem and the error code he said I’m looking at the parts diagram and there is no cooling fan just a convection and downdraft fan so it must mean one of those. After getting off the phone with him I felt frustrated because I knew there was a cooling fan and didn’t know how to get the stove fixed. Then I found a video. Turn power off, to take off bottom of burner buttons plate unscrew 3 screws remove plate. Unscrew two screws on each side holding the burner buttons panel on and use two s hooks (or cut and bend a wire hanger to make 2 hooks) hang it to the metal to support. Unscrew 3 screws from the top burner and 2 screws from the back then lift up and remove. The burners and wires now exposed unscrew 3 screws from the left side of metal plate top lift up the left side and middle clip access the cooling fan located on front left. Unscrew cooling fan from front plate. Lift up cooling fan unclip the cords from the two connections. Get new cooling fan if didn’t come with foam piece remove it from the old one and secure it in same place on new one. Clip the cords in place (use extra cord if needed) Put fan in place then put screws back in same locations to put stove back together. So I figured it didn’t look that hard and I would try to locate and replace the fan myself. I ordered this cooling fan two nights ago and it arrived today. Part was the exact same part as the old one, when using the extra cord provided. It does not include the foam piece so you will need to remove and reuse or purchase separately. In total took me about 2 hours or less to take apart and put back together. Turned the oven on and made it to 325 with no issues! I’m a 39 year old woman and I’m feeling proud that I could do what two appliance repair men couldn’t do or figure out : ) Plus I saved a bunch of money! This part is awesome and works and shipping was fast came in a small box. I would definitely purchase again from this seller.

Fit perfectly in the stove and works as good as original. Packaging was a little skimpy and the plastic connector was broken but still usable so not a huge deal. Easy install.

It was the right part for our KitchenAid range. It takes a bit of work removing screws to get to the blower, but once there, it's an easy install.

We moved into our house almost 4 years ago. We're folks that normally nuke stuff with the microwave and rarely use the oven on the stove. After some time, we did finally try to bake something and realized that the oven would start to warm up, but then give an F8E0 error, and state that the internal fan motor had low fan speed. This prevented the oven from pre-heating and coming up to proper cooking temperature.Being that the home is now almost 9 years old, I hated to put much money into a 9-year-old range. With the price of this fan motor and sensor, I thought that I would be crazy not to make an attempt at fixing my stove. I hated the thought that I could end up replacing the fan and that it would all be in vain, but after watching some of the DIY online videos, I started diving into the replacement. From start to finish took me just about 3 hours, however a good bit of that was cleaning all of the places that were not normally accessible when the range was pushed into place. Before pushing the range back into place, I set the oven to 350 and for the first time sense living here, the oven pre-heated and came all the way up to the set temperature. The repair worked, now I have to work on trying to get my wife to make me a batch of peanut butter cookies. (The repair was probably the easy part) :-)

I had an error code on my oven and bought this to help fix it. I installed it no problem but the error still showed up. I had to pay for an appliance repair to come help diagnose the issue. They installed another fan motor and it fixed the problem. He mentioned the part seemed cheaply made. Wasted money as I was past the return period by the time he was able to come fix it with a part that actually worked. Save yourself some money and don't buy a knock off.
