I had no tutorial to go on, so I winged it and was not disappointed. I did inadvertently disassemble more than necessary, but I left out those parts :).This item is for the Whirlpool wrqa59cnkz quad door refrigerator. Item was received without damage and is a perfect fit. Installation instructions below:1. Shut off water line and switch the icemaker off . Shouldn't have to, but best to CYA.2. The icemaker is mounted inside a housing. The housing is held in by a single screw in the ceiling of the freezer. Remove it. Keep it separate -- it's the only odd-ball-sized screw. The housing is suspended by four plastic posts coming from above. Slide the entire housing to the right 1-2 inches. Mine was a little stiff to get loose and I had to force it a bit. Don't let it fall.3. When it comes down, the wire will be very short, but there's a pocket in the front left of the housing that conceals more wiring. pull it out.4. The connector between the freezer and the icemaker is protruding only a couple of inches from the left side, concealed in a zip-tied wrapping. cut one zip tie and slide it away from the connector. Pry up the plastic lock and unplug the icemaker. Close the freezer and work on the counter.5. There are two pair of screws, holding the icemaker to the housing, two on the bottom that were visible while it was mounted, and two more on its back that would face left when looking at it in the freezer. Remove them.6. Stand the housing up on end with the power button down. On the top, there is a tiny plastic lip holding the icemaker in place. You'll need to peel it back carefully while pulling the icemaker out. Careful not to pry anywhere else.7. Once loose, tip the icemaker down towards you and pull out.8. Before installing the new icemaker, make sure you pull the power cord free of the track it came stuck in, so it will reach the connector. Insert power button end first, and push the top end in. It should snap in.9. Reverse steps to install.10. When done, hold the reset button on the ice maker until it starts moving. Afterward, it should immediately fill with water.

The original ice maker was problematic since our fridge was new. It would constantly get stuck mid ice dump. We rarely had ice. I swapped it out with this one (easy DIY) and have been ice rich ever since!
