I bought this for my 11 year old because the adult size is still just a tad big for him. This fit him perfectly and he was able to float on his belly while snorkeling without and struggle. It was easy to inflate and deflate and compacts flat for traveling. Worth the money if you’re not professionally doing this and staying close to shore. I would not use this in deeper waters as it is not a life jacket but very fun for shallow water floating.

My son wanted to snorkel when we went on vacation, but he is not a good swimmer yet. So, I got him this and he was safe and floating perfectly while snorkeling. He is 7 and I got him small, fits perfect.

Worked as expected for the kids on their first snorkeling trip. Bright colors as advertised, fit well on a 9 and 7 year old, included the waist strap and the leg strap as needed and easy to inflate/deflate for packing. Would recommend.

Okay SO, I’m a good swimmer and am confident in water. My husband said I was dumb for ordering this BUT, he was wrong. We went scalloping this weekend and although we were ordered to stay near the boat at all times we began to drift with the current. I had put this on, un-inflated and went in with mask, snorkel and scallop bag. Again my husband told me I didn’t need the vest but it was so light weight I didn’t notice it was on and it actually ended up preventing my chest from getting as burnt as the rest of my body did. (BONUS)!! Anywho, the tide had taken me VERY far from the boat and I was being yelled at to come back but the tide was too strong and I was getting exhausted so I blew into the hole by pushing down on the tube and blowing and I blew it up in 5-6 huffs. This allowed me to roll onto my back and float and slowly kick my way back to the boat. This gave me a sense of security because if I wasn’t able to do so, I could have relaxed and floated with the current and the boat could have came to get me if absolutely necessary. The security this gave me was worth every penny.

We got this for our 3 kids (6, 9, 11) to aid with snorkeling. They pack super small, so I found them ideal for traveling. Also, they were very easy to inflate and snap on. I thought these were great. They we able to support my children enough that I felt comfortable taking them into really deep waters (my lightest child weighs 40 lbs, heaviest weighs about 90 lbs). My eldest complained that the when floating on her stomach the vest would rise up and become uncomfortable, but she also refused to strap on the vest correctly, so that might had something to do with it.

These work well for what they are intended for which is snorkeling. I live in Hawaii so we do that a lot and these have left a rash on both my kid's faces. They are 6 and 8. Both swim so it's about safety going out in deeper waters. I might try to inflate them less so they don't rub against the face while using in the water.

Know we're going snorkeling at least 3 times in the next 3 years, so bought these. Used them at a Florida State Park cold spring and they were perfect for the whole family. Can inflate to comfort level and fit for everyone individually. Traveled easy by car, and know they will travel well by plane for next two uses.
