Over Flow Protection
Over flow protection device is designed in the QCC adapter.
Please connect the QCC1 adapter to your tank first and open gas for few seconds before connect the 1 lb adapter to your small tanks, or it may not work.

Easy Control and Overflow Protection
- With valve for easy control of refilling process and preventing leaking when not use.
Instructions
- Place the big propane tank in the sun for 2hrs or more. Place the 1lb propane cylinder in the freezer for 30 mins or more!! The most important step)
- Make sure the big propane tank valve is shut off then insert the black end of adapter hose install on a big tank.
- Turn on red control valve few second then turn off ( open gas for a few seconds after that because of the overflow protection. Or it may not work.)
- Screw in the 1 lb tank clockwise into the adapter hose.
- Turn the big tank upside down.
- Slightly open the big tank valve (do not open all the way, just a little). If you are having issues reaching the valve, slightly tip the tank back to expose BBQ valve.
- Allow about 10~15 mins to fill (it may take longer in some cases). You can control the filling process easily by the red control valve.
- Shut the BBQ valve and remove the 1lb cylinder. Your 1lb cylinder tank is ready for use!
Troubleshooting:
- Not getting a full refill? Sometimes it takes longer to refill your tank.
- It's important to repeat steps 1 from the instructions before your second attempt.
- Refill > 30mins. The adapter valve will automatically cut off the flow of gas to avoid overfilling
- Still not working? Attempt to open the BBQ valve all the way following the steps above

Does a Good job, found if i chill bottles i get a full fill. just don't overfill, i use a digital scale, weigh bottle and zero scale, fill with no more than a pound on gas, anymore can be dangerous especially in hot weather, gas has nowhere to expand and can cause injury or possible explosion!

Bought this for my husband who goes to his little hut in the woods and it attaches to his portable heater. He likes it but you do have to be careful when transferring it over from the propane tank.Would recommend

Once I saw this, especially with the gauge in the right spot, I had to buy it. It's too expensive always buying a new 1lbs bottle when there $10-$15/bottle. Costco was about $10 last time I filled a 20lbs bottle.Follow the directions of freezing 1lbs bottle for 30 min or more. I didn't put my 20lbs bottle in the sun and it seemed to work good.Only problem I have is, what to do with the remaining propane in the hose??? I just discharged it outside, which seemed to be a nice amount. Might just buy a 20lbs bottle just for filling 1lbs bottles.
