I have a 1 burner Webber grill that I travel with in my Motorhome. This is small enough to put in and out of basement but big enough I don’t have to worry about running out of gas while on the road. Much more economical than the 1 lb green bottles

Easy to transport. Light weight. Size is awesome for camping and I can refill it and get away from the 1lb green tanks from the store. I've used it for 12 days of camping so far and what tapped it out was a propane fit pit. I love this little tank and it is 100% a great purchase. I also ordered it with the mounting bracket. But I need to come up with a better latch for it as the latch that is on it is not secure enough for off road travel. The tank is great. Wish I bought one last summer!

I bought this 5 lb propane tank because constantly buying the 1-pounder propane tanks felt like a waste of money. This thing only weighs about 5 lb super light compact and you don't have to bring the 20 pounders with you camping. I bought this cuz I camp a lot and we go through propane cuz we like to cook a lot too. I highly recommend this if you're a big camper like me. Super well made of by flame King

This is an awesome way to save on the one pound green cans. Using a buddy heater was eating up 3 to 4 green cans a night. I ran the heater with the 5 pound tank and ran for two nights on 5 bucks.

I got this for my portable fire pit, and on medium flame, it’ll last 3 nights of beers ‘round the fire - more than enough.Despite supposedly coming pre-purged, my local Uhaul shop couldn’t fill it. I brought it to an actual propane dealer and they were able to fill it right up. It now works at Uhaul, which is closer to my home.Much smaller, lighter and more convenient than hauling around a 20lb tank, although next time I’m on a week long wheeling trip, I’ll have to switch back to the 20lb. Maybe I’ll bring this along for cooking (I usually use reusable 1lb bottles for cooking)

Great not to have to use throw away cans. THIS SHOULD BE ADVERTISED as good for the environment, and packaged with an appropriate hose. Cheap and easy to refill too.

I bought this 5-lb. propane tank mainly because of its price, which is about the best I could find either online or in brick-and-mortar stores. I use it for my camp stove in place of the annoying and expensive 1-lb. disposable canisters (I made myself an adapter for hooking up this refillable bulk tank to my stove through an adjustable pressure regulator). For this purpose, the tank performs perfectly, and it's already well on its way to paying for itself by dramatically reducing the cost of cooking with my camp stove (e.g., a 1-lb. canister costs about the same as a 5-lb. refill!).The tank came with a little plastic level gauge that can be easily removed and re-installed. The gauge works by magnetically detecting the level of the tank's "overpressure-protection device" (OPD). At first I thought the gauge was faulty because after filling the tank for the first time, the gauge showed that the tank was almost empty (!). However, now after using the tank on a three-day camping trip, the gauge is reporting that the tank is almost completely full, which I believe. I suspect that when the tank is "filled to the brim," the OPD is so close to the gauge that it "saturates" the magnetic-detection method, rendering a nonsensical measurement. Now that the level in the tank has dropped a bit, the OPD is within the gauge's usable range, and the gauge therefore now registers a reasonable value. One final thing: the tank comes with a sticker on the valve indicating that the tank has been vacuum purged. Keep this sticker: since this was the first time to fill the tank, the guy at the propane store wouldn't fill the tank unless I could prove that the tank had been vacuum purged.

We looked at stores everywhere for this size of propane tank. Amazon to the rescue again. Great price and size. It’s perfect for the slide in camper on our truck.

Esta chiquito, pero ideal para uno que no cocina más que huevos o chuletas o cosas sencillas. Para frijoles o el que cocina 3 veces diario no se los recomiendo.

Good tanks. Good quality.Came with sticker on the valve that said it was vacuum purged so the propane guy didn't have to do a first purge which saves me money and hassle apparently.
