I used these in my old GMC where I was able to remove the old bolts. Unfortunately, some of the old bolts were too rusted and broke upon removal. To solve this, I bought an interesting "fix" from the local Oriely's that didn't use the clogged bolt holes. It was a bolt with a metal trap that slid over the flange. They worked beautifully.

The original springs on my 94 Suburban 5.7 L V8 were completely flat after 200K miles and the studs were ever so slightly out of shape so getting all 3 to line up with the flange was extremely tedious. It was also eating the exhaust gasket donuts on a regular basis. Installed this new stud kit on both sides and everything went back together very easily. The best part is that they've been installed for 7 months and the donut gaskets are holding up fine.

After 230K miles and 28 years on the road, I was lucky enough to only snap off 1 of the original studs., have 1 back out, and the remaining 4 still had threads left. These fit well.

Perfect replacement on my 1991 Chevy K2500 with the 5.7. I am not sure why a reviewer said his was loose, but on my exhaust the studs tightened up nicely. I have the original exhaust manifolds on my engine and I am the only owner to this truck, so I know that they are original to the engine.

They are metric thread not standard.Just had to run a tap thru the hole and they fit good.
