The front of my muffler pipe rusted out on my 2007 Civic. The muffler itself was still in great shape, so I ordered this to fix the flared section by the 2 flange bolts. Some cutting was necessary, but it fit very well. You'll likely need to reuse the old flange or use longer bolts, since the new flange is too thick to fit the original bolts. I installed a muffler clamp on it and it's good as new now. Easy fix with some basic hand tools and a metal saw.

Its a nice heavy duty piece. The passenger side of the Y-pipe on my 94 Ranger with 4.0L V6 wasnt sealing properly to the exhaust manifold. I finally took the y-pipe off to discover Ford had used "engineered" flanges, meaning they were engineered to use the least metal possible. Works when they are new. But little age and rust and .... The rest of y-pipe was still solid, so this fix lot cheaper than new y-pipe.Well I had to deal with a curve in y-pipe shortly past the OEM flange. So I measured and cut this Walker repair flange end much shorter and butt welded it to the y-pipe where I cut off the OEM end. Reassembled everything and voila, it sealed, no longer sounded like some old rattle trap truck. I didnt have enough info of what this end would be like before ordering or I would ordered two and replaced flanges on both sides of y-pipe. The flange plate on these is solid steel (old school kind of design) not some minimalist design like the original.

Worked great as I expected as I needed to mate it up to a male exhaust manifold (see pic). I purchased a kit that came ready for a 302 motor that was the original motor for a 1974 Bronco. However, I've installed a 351w from a early 80's Ford and had to use this to build a customized connector. Welding is involved but this provides a good starting part as a connector. Recommended.

I had to purchase a new catalytic converter after my 30 year old one developed a hole. The new one was shorter and didn't have flanges to connect to the exhaust pipes and header downpipe. This piece, once welded, allowed me to fit the shorter catalytic converter with ease.

Didnt fit exactly on my 02 ranger so i had to hammer the sides down a bit to get it to fit better. Overall for the price this is a great piece if youre doing some exhaust work. Only problem is that the flange peice got rusty when i left it out. I just sanded down the surface rust and put some sealant on it but i still shouldn't have to do that. Overall a great piece.

No major dislikes about this item because I knew what I was getting myself into. I had to cut it down and drill out the flange retainer to accept the OD of the shoulder of the bolts, it did take compressing the springs a little bit to get the bolts started.

The exact sizes were important to me as I was trying to use it on a manifold with 2 fastening bolts and a 2" pipe. However the slotted holes needed to be filed because the openings were not close enough together to fit on my studs. They also needed to be enlarged a bit as the studs were too large and the slots were likely made for 5/16" studs.I bought this one requiring a donut seal as there were none available with the pipe welded and using a flat gasket. But my studs were not long enough to use the donut seal and I could not remove them.So I cut the pipe and then welded the thick flange to the pipe. My ugly weld worked and now I could use the flat gasket with the existing studs. There are several flat flange adapters available but the flange is stainless and I was not sure about welding stainless to a thin mild metal pipe. BTW, the flange is very tough metal and did not file easily.Shortest distance of slots 2.7"Longest distance of slots 4.35"Diameter of outside of flare for donut to fit between studs 2.5"Size of hole at the flange 1.8"Pipe is 2" ID at flange end and enlarged at other end to fit over a 2" pipe

The flared end is 2 1/2 inch OD and the pipe and slides over 2 inch exhaust pipe.. works great for a SBC stock exhaust manifold connection..

Goes overtop stock Honda/integra pipe perfectly. Used a 2" clamp to tighten down.
