Loved the idea and the price point of this. But when I received it, I discovered that the screw holes are not standard stud width. The instructions state that it should be mounted on studs, but only one of the 3 screw holes line up with a stud.

Poor design. Ski holders are too close together. Screw holes are not equidistant from each other, and are not spaced properly for mounting on wall studs.

I am extremely disappointed in this rack. I feel it was a waste of time and money because it is so poorly designed and finished.The installation holes on the metal frame aren’t standard stud width apart so are only able to be installed on one stud.For the one stud I could screw into, the screw head broke off with minimal pressure. Poor quality. And they didn’t provide an extra.The manual is for 1, 2, and 3 sets of skis, no mention of the 4 set model I purchased.The frame is metal, painted grey with chunks in the paint. The rubber covering the hooks is loose.The rack is not wide enough to fit 4 pairs of skis without the bindings touching adjacent pairs. Outside skis put weight and pressure on inside skis.If the skis are not together perfectly or get bumped they can fall out of the hooks very easily.The weight of the skis in the hooks bends the tips.Nothing like the picture on here.Either return the rack, repair and repaint the wall in the newly renovated room. Or begrudgingly try to make it work somehow. Build a base for it or modify it somehow.
