Nice, lightweight case for most conducting batons. I would probably get a nice padded case for an expensive one, but this certainly does the job of protecting the fragile baton when being transported in a music bag, etc. I have seen a few batons with a larger than normal handle, and they would probably not fit in here, but it is certainly adequate for almost all.

This baton case is all plastic and is light weight, however the end caps are not fitted closely and the first time I used this case the weight of my 12†Mollard baton sliding inside the case caused the cap to come loose and my baton fell onto the floor. I would NOT recommend this case. It simply isn’t secure.
