I am just now remembering to write a review for this cover and it has been about 3 years since i bought it. It has been cover in every element mother nature has to provide. It covers my M8000 warn on a 2004 jeep TJ with great fitment. It has always been in the sun, mud, water, snow, been in heavy wooded areas. I has faded due to being outside all the time. but no holes or rips. The warn logo has started to crack and peel off but the cover is still holding strong.

Love(d) it. It fits my Warn M8000 that has the solenoid mounted remotely.Unfortunately I lost it somewhere on the last trailride. I'll be buying another one!UPDATE: Sep, 2017 - It was good while it lasted-- it is now faded to gray, the Warn logo is a faded red, and the (now gray) fabric is tearing in spots and exposing disintegrating rubber underneath. I am afraid to remove it. as it may come off in pieces. I think we will use it as a pattern to make one of our own, out of soft-top material.

Fits well, protects winch, looks good. "HOWEVER" - it faded very quickly. Within six months it was gray/bluish/black. Neoprene has tremendous sun and ozone resistance, and typically does not breakdown when exposed to sunlight, "or at least not as quick." Its worth the money, though know in advance that it will discolor and loose it repellant properties.

Seemed a bit pricey, but I eventually bought it anyway. I bought this cover to use as a permanent cover, since my 1700 winch is mounted on a trailer and gets a lot of road spray. My winch is also outfitted with a nylon strap, so this cover will keep degrading sunlight off the strap.I cut a Quarter size hole in the top edge to allow access to the remote port without removing the cover, and I secured the cover with a large zip tie around the center to insure that it can't possible blow off or be easily removed. Looks nice, and will keep the winch clean.

Looks great and protects winch from the elements. Only problem is that it faded from black to light gray within 18 months despite regular cleaning and use of UV protectant (Formula 303). Fits the winch very well and stays on even at highway speeds. Winch still looks like new. A must especially for winches with synthetic lines that are susceptible to UV rays. That being said, I did order a new cover to replace my faded cover since this is the best available product that provides the fit and protection needed. Just wish it didn't fade so quickly. Just need to view this as a replaceable maintenance product...

Overall I like the cover. The fit is great and the material is good. I say good because I used to have a Mile Marker cover on my WARN winch. I put the M.M. printing toward the rear so only the black side showed. I will say that my Mile Marker cover, while not the perfect fit was a much better made cover. At least three to four times thicker and just feels like it is a better quality cover. I went with the WARN for an exact fit but I doubt that it will last as long as what I'm used to. Time will tell.

So far it's protecting the synthetic line on my winch in the harsh MN winter. It makes sure that I don't have an iced over winch. The fit is perfect for my M8000-s Warn Winch.UPDATE:I just had to winch someone out of a ditch last night in the middle of a ice/snow storm. When I pulled the cover off, my winch was ice free and dry. I love this thing. So simple and cheap and it does what it's supposed to do.

This was a perfect fit for the ZEON winch, and even came with a small spray bottle of UV protectant. A cover of some sort is definitely a must have if you're planning on storing your winch outside (like on your vehicle!), or going off roading. This will keep the winch dry and protected, and it looks like the cover is easily cleaned when necessary.The problem is that even after spraying with the UV protectant, the black color has faded to a dull whitish gray. It's been less than 6 months! Totally unacceptable. If you're going to make a cover for a top of the line winch, make it out of good material. Especially for the exhorbitant price, it should last longer and look better. On the other hand, the cover (and winch) are protected so there are no rips or tears after this time. Therefore, 0 stars for the material, 5 stars for the coverage, equals 2 stars.

Fits nice and snug on Warn M8000. Used on the highway no issues, used on trail no issues. Keeps dirt and sun off of winch and synthetic rope. Comes with us spray. I keep my Jeep in a garage so don’t expect the cover to be exposed to much sun or rain or snow. Should keep nice for years.
