It’s sometimes hard to find an effective paint stirrer that works well. I look at design from a standpoint of effectiveness and longevity. This little stirrer has a good design, won’t tear up the paint can, or throw paint all over the place. And it’s inexpensive. I highly recommend it.

Takes quite a while to stir a gallon of paint

I was feeling cheap when I bought this and it does work, just not very well. I would recommend buying a better, more aggressive stirring tool. Or...if you are feeling cheap like I was, this is the tool for you!

I bought this item to mix up some homemade gun lube. I used Super Lube and some liqui moli oil. It was impossible to get the right consistency by hand. With this mixer I had the perfect mixture in seconds. A bonus is that they are cheap enough to throw away after using them.

For the price, you just can't beat this. The churner is non-metallic, but it seems well made and is affixed to the shaft in a secure manner. Obviously, this is too small for 5-gallon pails, but for quarts and gallons, I think it's just fine.

So the good. It arrived unbroken and is solid. The gallon size on a gallon can took a lot of up and down and round and round to get a mix. Which is why I'm not sure it actually saved me any time from the old stick shift. On really thin liquids like water urethane maybe. Thicker stuff just led to way too small a vortex to pull and move stuff. One odd note. I was expecting this to throw paint like a peaceful protest. It didn't hardly at all unless I just completely yanked it out.

Received my order, as I intended to use it to mix QUARTS of paint. Mixes very well for quart size, as it does not bring the paint over the rim of the qt. can. (Not too much mixing power). Easy to clean when used with water based paint (have not tried oil.) 2" size works with a 1/4" drill (I used cordless). For the price (practically disposable), it can't be beat. I use larger sizes/others for gallons.

Used to mix a slightly thicker material than paint but still worked great. You’ll need to move the mixer up and down to get really good mixing. super easy to use.

Half the price comparing it to similar models in Home Depot.Reason for the 4 star rating:- although the little 2" propeller it is doing its job, I think that maybe a bit bigger size would do a better job.- the 1/4 steel shaft it is only 9.5 inch long and that plenty for the small can of paint but for the gallon size can, the hand drill chuck if very close to the paint if you are to reach all the way to the bottom of a full can to mix it properly.Overall, it does the job and its a good price.

Just what I was looking for. Hoped to find cheaper but couldn't at the time. But happy.

Another inch or two would be preferred to allow a bit more space between the drill and bottom of a gallon can reducing risk of paint splash on the drill. Less important but a better design would also be a ridged end to the shaft for better hold in a drill. But overall reasonable for the price.

Perfect size but I foresee issues with the fact that it's plastic. It will break.I mix thick plastisol inks with it and it's very hard to get it 100% clean.

Only used it 4 times now. Great value for money.
