Just installed our pool, and then heavy rain. Trying to pump out the overfilled pool and all water in the nice new moat that mother nature gave us. This pump fell in the water and tripped the GFCI. It didn't work after that. Even ordered another one since it was my fault. Took the motor cover off, cleaned and dried it out, and this thing just keeps working! Very well built, heavy materials and does a great job pumping and self-priming. I definitely recommend this pump! Just keep it dry!

I have submerged in river and it pumps out great, make sure to use 3/4 ID hose, i first used 5/8" ID 75ft hose and switched to 3/4" and just about doubled the output. Connected to solar panel

It was just what we needed. The pump works great—it has more force than we need, but we aren't complaining!

I purchased the FPower pump, model FX704 for about a year now. I have the unit partially submerged in my pool to drain rainwater. The unit is plugged into an outdoor GFI outlet with 3 prongs. The unit has been working fine for a year in this location, but now the GFI is being tripped after a few seconds when I plug in the pump. I tried two other devices, and this outlet is working fine to power other electric devices without issue. I inspected the outlet, the power cord, and have not found any problems such as exposed wire, but I am still having this issue with the GFI tripping a few seconds after plugging in the pump. I contacted the company by email and the email address was not found, then I sent a message on Amazon to the Seller and have not received a response.

Bought as a replacement for existing pedestal pump originally bought from Home Depot pre-assembled. No instructions included, so be prepared to spend time trying to figure out how to put it together. I ended up using my old existing float assembly as it seemed better and more logical than the new parts supplied in this kit.

I bought this replacement pump to take care of snow melt and rain water in the basement. While not as powerful as the previous pumps it is doing a great job. I have it in a plastic barrel that I have drilled small holes in. It is sitting on a brick to prevent debris getting sucked in. The water is evacuated through a garden hose directly into the drainage pipe, although a larger ABS pipe can also be used. The pump evacuates water down to 1/8 in from the surface. Great little hardworking pump. Can't say anything about durability as I have only been using it for short while.

So far it is working very well. It’s able to pump 10 feet, no issue. Takes 13Amps so the duration of function during a power failure would be 3 to 5 hours in my estimate. I am hoping to connect it to a Jackery power box. It only has 12Volts DC at 10amp!

Pump works well. Used to replace an old battery back up pump. Only poor feature are the battery clips. One broke when I was testing it outside in a pail of water. Had it attached to a lawn mower battery at the time. I cut both clips off as I attached it in the basement to the batter back up sump pump box. Tested it again and works great. Fairly quiet pump. Clips should be made more heavy duty, otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.
