These tablets could save lives if Amazon consumers realize their value before they make their purchase

I got these to have and distribute amongst my family for emergencies. Compared to other options, these are a really great value. I haven’t used them yet and hope not to need to, but I like the peace of mind they bring. The instructions were clear and the product would be easy to use. I’d recommend having some of these on hand in case of an emergency

This review is for the Water Purifier Tablets –Water Purification Tablets for Emergency Water - Hiking, Camping, Survival, Emergency – Drinking Water Filtration System Survival Tabs - Purificador De Agua - 100 Tablets - 4G.So I just ordered these Feb 26th 2025, they were delivered today March 1st, box and each packed have Dec 2024 manufacture date on them, exp date November 2029. There's 100 tablets in the package, each is individually sealed, they're small so would be easy to pack and take along if hiking/camping, pack in a bugout bag... 1 tablet does 4 gallongs of water.I don't have any way to get some giardia or other contaminated water to test them LOL. For those whom don't know ya know that old saying don't drink the water in Mexico the country, well it's becasuse of the little thing know as giardia and other parasitic/bacteria/virus... that's in the water. But you can run into contaminated water in a pond/lake, river/creek... even in our own tapwater in the U.S. can be contaminated. So these tabs aren't going to make ALL water safe to drink alone by themselves in my personal opinion. But you can use them combined with other things such as an initial filtration like a clean white paper coffee filter, boiling, using a filtration system, UV light steriliation, distillation... But, should you ever be in an emergency situation and have no other means to make water safe to drink, they're certainly better than not having anything to use. And they're simple to use.I am wondering if you can extend the useability of the tabs if you store them in the freezer? It would be nice if the manufacturer could address this question please.Regular price $ 28.99 per the listing, on sale $ 24.99. Do your due diligence with the use of this product and other listings. As always I only do honest reviews and update if needed. I hope this helps you make the best choices how to spend your $.

This is an unbelievably good deal for water purification tablets. My wife has health issues, so being prepared for emergencies—especially when it comes to safe drinking water—is a big priority for me. I’ve bought similar products from the big-name brands before, and they cost way more than this, so it’s refreshing to find an option that doesn’t feel like a total ripoff. These tablets cover a decent amount of water per tablet, and having 100 in a pack makes it a great long-term emergency supply.I haven’t had to use them yet (thankfully), but based on the packaging and instructions, they seem straightforward and effective, while also being safely packaged for long-term storage. If they work as well as advertised, this is a no-brainer purchase for anyone looking to stock up on emergency essentials without spending a fortune. If I'm able to get a TDS meter or have an emergency situation where these come in handy, I will definitely update this review with the results. Absolutely worth it for peace of mind alone!

So, I admit I have only tested one of these tablets (I don't want to use them up before doing some proper survival camping). But, to be sure they work, I decided to test one with some stream water. (I even had some litmus etc to test the water afterward). So put in the tablet. . .wait half an hour. . .right away, I will say, the smell was better. Obviously, not difficult to use. I did test the water to be safe, and it appeared everything was in the right levels. I couldn't really test how long the effect is, but so far everything seems clean. I gave it a taste. . .and it tasted like regular clean water. So, for being a small, pretty lightweight little tablet (I'll probably be putting them in a waterproof case later), it was pretty effective. Not the cheapest, not the most expensive, so I would say worth the cost provided you have a use for it.

I got these water tablets to have on hand in case we have a problem with water quality or i have to gather water outside when camping. They say that they kill a lot of things you dont want but i don't have a way to actually test that and will have to PRAY that they actually DO kill viruses and other nasties if i have to use them on water that's from an unsure source. They say they have a long shelf life (5 yrs) and are lightweight to carryIf they work they're a good valueYou get 100 tabs and each tab is supposed to clean up to 4 gallons of waterAt just under $25 when i got them that seems fair enough considering they're a safety net.A larger bundle at a more discounted price could be a nice option. Just sayingI have NOT tried these yet so i can not speak to their taste (if there is on) and they're actual function and taste

I like to be prepared for emergencies, and while I have a water filter for camping that takes physical effort to use and only produces smaller volumes of clean water. For larger group trips, or when there's the occasional water emergency at home (low pressure situation which may allow bacteria to enter the pipes), chemical treatment is more effective as I can clean a larger volume by just letting it sit. These are perfect for me; each tablet can treat four gallons of water, and since they're individually wrapped I'm less worried about spilling a bottle or accidentally getting moisture inside and ruining them. I can keep some at home, some in my camping gear, etc., and with a five-year shelf life I feel better prepared in case of emergencies.
