A number of years ago one of us got a painful sting from a sting ray and he has been afraid to go in the water, or even walk on the beach, ever since. He eventually started going on the sand, but only if he was wearing socks - and he looks as ridiculous as you are thinking he does in white calf high socks! Plus, the socks get ruined and have to be thrown out after the day. I bought these in the hopes that 1) it will help him get over his fear and go in the water again, even if its only as deep as the socks and 2) they work better in the sand, and look less ridiculous, than regular socks.The material of the socks is the same as a wet suit, so should work fine and hold up well. It would be helpful if a size chart had been included - he wears a size 12.5 men, and I ordered the XL so fingers crossed they fit. I know they should be snug fitting, as a wetsuit, but they still need to be comfortable for our use. They appear to be well made and I might actually purchase a second pair for myself to use while hunting for shells on the beach.I'm super excited to try these out on the beach, but we won't actually get to for a few months, and I'll update my review then.

These neoprene water socks hold up to the hype. They no only keep sand out buy keep water out as well. Whether you are on the beach or in the shower these socks will keep your feet dry. I had no problem wearing these with tennis shoes and I was comfortable wearing them with shoes on over them. I did try wearing them with fins but I could not get my fins on over them. If you want to use them for that it would be a good idea to go up a size on your fins. Only reason I gave it four stars is because once they are wet it’s hard to get them off. They go on and off good when dry but if you go into the water with them they become difficult to take off. Other than that one minor issue this is a great product - so much so that I plan on getting another pair.

I wanted to try diving socks to wear in my snorkel fins, and to walk on shoreline rocks without injuring my feet. These diving socks are the solution for me. The fit is good (I wear a size 9.5 and selected size L diving socks), the material and construction is substantial, and a rubber seal at the cuff helps provide a seal to your diving suit or skin. I like the lightly-textured sole, as you cannot feel it from inside but it does provide grip on slippery surfaces.It was very easy to pull these on my feet, especially when I wore sports socks underneath. The strange thing about these is the wrinkle at the top of the ankle (see picture) - they show this as well in the advertising pictures. It does allow my feet to flex during snorkeling, without pulling the dive socks down, and this is a nice feature. But even when I flexed my foot, the wrinkle was still there.It would be easier for people to order the correct size if the manufacturer gave an equivalent shoe size for their letter size offering. Maybe they will fix this.

These are really nice aqua socks. They are very hard to get on. But I think they're supposed to be because that's how they keep the water from getting in. The only thing is it kind of makes it hard to get off as well. I think they are true to size I think the size is right for me if it's my foot really well there's a nice padding at the bottom. They feel good on your feet, like easy to swim in in the water They don't weigh you down like water shoes. There is very hard to get on but I think that's just part of what Aqua socks are so that's kind of a catch 22. True to size and I'm a size 7. But if you're looking for Aqua socks and you realize that these are a really quality pair.

Let's go over where this item would be awesome! On a hot sandy beach - Perfect!!! Great protection for beach volleyball, and walking on the sand! In the water - Also perfect!!! Provides protection from any critters and has a great textured sole. In a kayak or any other water sport - Also perfect!!! Keeps your feet warm! Diving/snorkeling - Also perfect!!! I'm a diver and I plan to use these to keep my fins feeling comfortable without needing to wear scuba booties. This would be great to bring on ANY vacation by the water. They fit great, even though I thought they would be huge on me when I first saw them. It was a little difficult to get them on, but that's kind of what you want in a product like this. Very worth the price and they are solidly made! Highly recommend and happy to give this product a well deserved 5 stars!

I wear a size 8, and the small size of these 3mm neoprene socks fits me perfectly, luckily, I didn't choose medium size as what I used to wear. The silicone strip inside the sock cuff effectively prevents slippage, though it does make putting them on and taking them off a bit more challenging. Overall, they fit well enough for most seaside activities, including snorkeling and scuba diving. The socks provide decent water resistance and warmth, making them a reliable choice for water sports.
