Slightly bigger than I expected but that’s my miss on not verifying the dimensions closely. Quality is excellent. I used it to consolidate some outdoor wiring and a gate opener. Worked perfectly.

If you are on the fence about this box, just buy it. I had to modify mine, but it all worked out well. 16 ga material I believe, The finish is more like "baked on enamel" it's really nice I cut the back out of it so I could cover some existing service that never had a panel. It was like spaghetti, so I installed a "sub panel" to the left of this. It worked out really well for my application. It doesn't have a really "secure" locking system, so you wouldn't want to store anything valuable inside it. It a waterproof electrical enclosure. it comes with 2 keys. It was packaged very well with no damage. I'm a happy customer

I bought this for a new control panel build for my home beer brewing system. The metal thickness is a little thinner than my old control panel, but still seems completely adequate for panel mounted controls (e.g. switches, lights, etc.). The slightly thinner gauge was actually much easier to work with when it came to drilling and using my chassis punches. The removable back plate is really nice as it allows easy access to install components. The "lock" is more of a keyed latch than a true lock; something to note in case you actually need to secure the door.
