I am extremely happy with this case. My original leather one had been stored away and had a musty smell that I couldn't get rid of. I was afraid that my VERY old flute would not fit in this new case, but it does so perfectly! It is sturdy yet lightweight, the indents for the pieces are nice and tight, and there's even an exterior zippered pocket to store the cleaning rod.

This was too small to fit a Gemeinhardt student model C-foot flute. I needs to be about 1/4 largerr in both diameter and length. Needs cushier padding too. It will not fit a B-foot flute which is one hole longer to get the lower B note.

My flute is an Artley from the 1960's. The case finally broke so I needed something to be able to carry my flute back and forth to band rehearsals. This case fits it perfectly and is very easy to carry.
