Finally I received the correct knobs for my GE Profile Gas Cooktop. After ordering 2 sets 1 from G.E. directly (wrong ones) I can say I am well pleased. I just got them, and they look and feel like the original knobs at one-fifth of the price than on G.E. Site for 5 knobs. I would highly recommend these! Make sure you have the Model number of your cooktop and read the information on the ad in full.

The knobs on our GE gas cooktop have a finish that starts to flake off after a couple of years. They are plastic with a fake metal outer coating.These replacement knobs look just like the originals, but they are considerably lighter than the original knobs. The weight is probably not an issue, because once you press these onto the shafts of the cooktop you really can't tell that they are lighter weight.It remains to be seen how the fake metal finish holds up on these, but for the money they seem to be fine. The replacement knobs from the manufacture cost almost as much for one knob as this set of 5 costs.
