I'm not sure what I can say about a battery replacement; besides, it was long due. It has been a couple of years already since I have had this laptop, I have made some upgrades along the way but I continue using it mostly for work because is reliable. Nonetheless, little by little the battery wore out and it didn't manage to last more than 15 minutes from 100 to critical level so I really was needing itThe replacement itself came with all the tools I may have needed (I didn't get to use them but it was nice), and it was easy to install that I was over in 10 mins topsSince I have tested the battery on a 15 inches Inspiron 5570 and it has delivered 3 to 4 hours in power saving, 2 hours and a half in default, and around 40 mins in performance, which are good averages. I am really satisfied with the experience and if I keep this device for the life cycle of this battery I would likely get this same one

This fit my Inspiron 13-7368 exactly. I purchased this same battery 3 years ago. Overall, I'm happy for the price and ability to keep this laptop (purchased new 2016) going. This is the 3rd replacement (2019, 2021, 2024). 2-3 years seems reasonable for a battery that is constantly being charged and frequently run down to auto shutoff. They work well to begin with, especially if you follow the instructions of letting it run down to 5%, then charging to 95%, then repeating this a few times. I get about 5 hours of full use before the battery save kicks in. I tend to leave my laptop plugged in and on most of the time, which probably shortens the battery life.

The battery came well protected in the packaging and also came with tools which was all I needed to install it; I didn't even have to take out my own screwdrivers.The plastic tool was ideal for opening the notebook casing without leaving any marks on it.In short, I had no problems with the installation, following the instructions in the manual.However, it was not so easy to calibrate, because although the manual explained it well: let it discharge to 5% and then connect the charger so that it reaches 100%. Repeat this three or four times.As I was using the computer for work, it was quite inconvenient to have to keep connecting and disconnecting the charger while the computer was turning on and off, and I had to save and reopen the documents I was working on.I think what I learned from all this is that you have to do this calibration process when you have free time and you're not in a hurry.

I don't use this laptop very often so I was shocked when I discovered that the battery only lasts 1 hour. After installing the battery I charged it to 100%, then shut the laptop down and unplugged the charger. After 2 months on the shelf I took to out and tried to start it....it was completely dead. I plugged it in and charged to 100%, unplugged it and started using it. Imagine my surprise when after 1 hour I got a low battery warning. It's past the return period so I'm out of luck.

UPDATE (7/17/22) - After 2 months of use, I've observed an improved battery life over the OEM battery. The original battery gave 4 to 4.5 hours of use. This battery provides 6 to 6.5 hours. Of course, actual service time will vary with acatual use: streaming full length movies and similar energy intensive activities results in lower life. I use this laptop for some Youtube playbacks, internet research, Facebook and the like. One other note, this battery has a 12 month warranty: plenty of time to stress the battery and weed out any potential problems.The Dell Inspiron P69G is an very easy laptop to repair and/or upgrade. This battery fits perfectly and looks almost identical to the original battery. The laptop booted up quickly and normally after installation.The included tools and instructions are useful and the CALIBRATION instructions will extend battery life and synchronize the actual % of battery left and time with the Windows icon.Well packaged and arrived as promised in 1 day (Amazon Prime) delivery.

Acquistata per sostituire la batteria di un pc Dell Inspiron 13 - 5000 Series.La scatola contiene due piccoli cacciaviti che però si sono rivelati inutili in quanto non adatti alle viti del mio pc portatile: probabilmente sono pensati per altri modelli della stessa marca.Col cacciavite giusto, non c'è stato alcun problema nel montaggio e la batteria funziona correttamente.Fino a questo momento la tenuta della carica è nella norma (dichiarato: circa 2 ore e mezza); mi riservo di aggiornare la recensione qualora la cosa cambiasse.

Installation was easy it fits perfectly. Charged it to 100% and then put the laptop aside playing YT videos on fullscreen until the battery drained. It took 5 hours and 15 minutes to drain which is quite impressive compared to the original battery which lasted 3 and a half hours when it was brand new.
