I've got this great wood whale weather vane that's been stuck on a piece of wood forever, and I'd love to put it on the shed. This nice kit is made up of three parts and they bolt together quickly. Nice gauge steel and a solid black coating. The way it's made, it can go from flat to a very steep pitched roof. The post has 4 screws to keep the pole in place - it's not going anywhere. The only thing I'll do is replace the included screws with roofing screws that have a rubber washer on them and one rubber one under the steel plate. Other than that - a very minor change, this is a really nice mounting option. This is one of those things that I didn't know I was looking for and yet it's going to solve a problem in no time at all.Overall: excellent item, very versatile in mounting and well made.
