A 4" poll OD is 4 and 1/4" the ID of the post skit is 4" it will not fit and you will send them back

I bought this with the post cover. It goes so well together. Fits just like what it says. Overall it looks beautiful and added an upgrade to my house for cheap. Love it.

My existing trim spilt open due to water swelling, this replacement trim fits nicely in place off it. If the spilt is very large just fill gap with white silicone

I used two sets of these to wrap the base of collumns that were a bit odd shaped. So, I had to use a grinder to get them shaped according to my application. They look clean and pretty....and surely will be mantanience free for many years. Remember, these work best if your application is precise to the capping specs.
