I bought this for my neuro-divergent 5yo grandgirl about a month ago. She has always been a restless sleeper and awakened early and oftentimes throughout the night. The blanket is soft, durable, machine-washable and provides a sense of comfort and safety for her. It is both cool and snuggly. It's good to keep in mind that weighted blankets aren't supposed to hang over the edge like a regular comforter, so you shouldn't expect the size to be as large as that - it covers the body. Since using this, she has slept straight through the night, undisturbed - as evidenced by the silent motion-sensor camera in her room. She awakens refreshed and happier. Highly recommend this product. Love the price as well.

Got this blanket for an 8 year old about 2 months ago. She is absolutely thrilled with it. I was worried about whether it would be to heavy or not but it's a perfect weight. She hasn't seemed to have any issues with it being too heavy or uncomfortable and it is a really nice size for a kiddo. I wanted one closer to a standard twin blanket size as she is tall for her age and this is a very nice size. I am also very pleased with how well it is holding up. I have washed it but did not dry it. It washed fine. Also considering it has been dragged all over by kiddos and still has not lost any of the beads indicates that it must be pretty decent quality. Overall I am really happy with this purchase.

I weigh about 170lbs, and the 10lb weight was perfect for me. I’ve tried both the 15 and 17 pound blankets, and those were just too heavy and uncomfortable. I sleep so well with this blanket, and it’s also plenty warm with the temps dropping outside.ðŸ‘

Given the size of the blanket, the weight is distributed to a point where I barely feel any weight at all. It's just a smidge heavier than an ordinary quilted blanket. It seems a good quality, and the color matched the pictures, so it's a decent value if you're not looking for a lot of weight, but in retrospect, I would've sprung for maybe 10 more pounds.

I've gone through a bunch of weighted blankets. Most of them are geared for colder temps. And even after a few washes, the glass beads will start to fall out. Either stitching falling apart, or beagles. LOLTHIS ONE however, is so great! Its somewhere between a full and queen size. Perfect for one person, cozy for 2. But the cooling -- is awesome! I've never experienced a blanket like this, much less a weighted one. The weighted blanket helps with my anxiety/insomnia, and the cooling feature is the icing on the cake. As soon as you take it out of the package, you won't want to take it off. I couldn't wait to sleep with it that first night, and I've not gone a night without it.When your body does warm up the blanket, you can simply give it a few wavy motions to bring in cold air, or move positions. Makes sleeping not only more comfortable, but something to look forward to.

Would likely go lighter for a first test of weighted blanket. Feels about same as covering yourself pillows. Or maybe 6-7 beach blankets. The weight stays evenly distributed.

The mauve color attracted me to this weighted blanket. I was unsure I'd like a weighted blanket when purchasing, but I really love it. It's very soft and comforting and gives me a good night's sleep.
