This is a very well made, substantial weather guard! Plastic, but thick, smooth, well contoured, with no funky mold/casting lines. Make sure you measure the three dimensional space you need to put this cowl over. My camera is a Wyze that is barely 2 inches by 2 inches and extends out from the wall maybe 5 inches because of the swivel mount it sits on (optional). This cover extends 7 inches--more than adequate, and my camera peaks out nicely from underneath. I did have to move the camera, however, because the corner trim board it was attached to was not wide enough for the cover--make sure you have room or a second choice.The surface that secures to the wall has a recessed foam rubber gasket that seals nicely against the wall. This isn't adequately shown in the ad but should be because that is important.This won't work so well for any camera that is aimed to observe scenes laterally because it would have to be below the bottom edge of the cover, which might somewhat defeat the purpose. For that, you'd need a clear cover. Mine, like probably most cameras, looks in a slightly downward angle and sits well enough under to keep it dry.25 bucks is pretty steep! I consider one element to a five star review to be the value, which is a somewhat subjective price vs. quality judgement. If I had not seen the same item for less from another seller, it would have gotten 5 stars because of that supply and demand thingy where a buyer pays what they have to if they want it badly enough. This product otherwise deserves that fifth star. But I predict the seller will figure that out and lower the price--watch for it!

This will go up with my new pan/tilt camera. Super easy mounting. I will be using my own hardware vs the supplied kit. At $26, it seems a bit speedy, but it will be protecting a very expensive camera. Perhaps wait for a sale

This WEILAILIFE camera cover is easy to install. While it ticks some boxes, my experience as a gate camera protector left me with mixed feelings.What I liked:Easy to install: True to its claim, the cover went on like a charm. No struggling with complicated parts or finicky mechanisms.Durable build: The ABS plastic feels sturdy and seems built to withstand the elements.What fell short:Rainwater woes: Despite the weatherproof label, rain droplets still managed to land on my door gate's infrared reflector.Reflector blockage: The cover's design, while universal, unfortunately, blocks the sensor area in certain positions. Moving it up didn't solve the problem, leaving the reflector partially obscured.However, I cannot speak with people who use it for cameras since this is not designed to protect infrared reflectors. Therefore, my review can be biased.
