I didn’t seal it and left the opening at the bottom. Saw a video with a great tip on how you should heat the textured side last. Worked great and would get again.

I purchased these shrink wrap bags to wrap books, and although I am an amateur, and just learning how to do the job properly, I found these bags to be exactly what I was looking for. They are easy to use, and most importantly for me, they can withstand quite a lot of heat without going into a hole.Having said that, I found that the best method was to turn the heat down slightly, because by doing that I was able to move the heat gun in a bit closer. It's all a matter of trial and error. Overall, these bags are ace.
