The 5-1/2" shaft on this set made it a great replacement for my worn out handle on my shed. Swapping it out was as simple as removing the old handle and sliding this one in place. The coating on the exterior handle is black and seems to be rough enough to withstand the elements. Great replacement for worn out handles on shed doors or chicken coops.
