Very pleased with the clamps! Sometimes you need to solve a little problem and normal sized clamps are just too big. For example I needed a couple to hold the loose flaps of a leaf bag for my riding mower. Work like a charm!

A good idea if you don't have one. Clamps down with considerable force. Won't know about durability for awhile.

These work great and are a good small size. Rachet seems to hold well and releases fine.

not an intended purpose for the clamps but works. I drill holes in stacks of paper to save time instead of using a hole punch.1- Stack of Paper neatly stacked.2- Chipboard on bottom. Write on the chipboard "BOTTOM" AND "BACK" for the side facing away from you.3- Chipboard on top. Write on the chipboard "TOP" AND "FRONT" for the side that will be facing you.3b- during first drilling, another piece of the paper on top of the chipboard with marks of where to drill.Drill down using whatever size regular drill bit, preferably using a drill press, but if you are good enough with drilling, you can do an inch or so at a time without going too much off perpendicular. After the first drill, use the chipboard to see where to drill again. Any time you need to make a new guide, you can easily cut and label new chipboard. you can also use wood or whatever, but chipboard is cheap enough and easy to remake hole guides.

Immediately upon opening the package I tried the clamp and the plastic handle on the ratcheting side broke off. I tried the second one and the same thing happened. Both clamps are all but useless 5 minutes out of the box.

Clamps seem substantial, much better than the Craftsman clamps I am replacing.

If you've never tried ratchet clamps for small things.. give em a try. For small items they are so much more convenient to use than even the mini quick clamps and exert good pressure. They work great just as expected!

I ordered four of these clamps and broke two of them within days of receiving my order. They snap and break if too much pressure is applied. Might be good for simply holding things but not recommend if you actually need to clamp something with any appreciable pressure.
