I bought this for an upcoming project. I've been a woodworking hobbyist for 50 years but have never felt a strong enough need for a biscuit joiner until now. After 1 practice cut on a piece of scrap, I tried it out on a a small project (6 biscuits - see pic for context) and found it much easier to use than I had feared. It came set up almost perfect for placing the biscuit in the middle of a 3/4" board, which is what I will need for my big project. I didn't measure how accurate the 90° setting was out of the box, but it was plenty close enough for the biscuits to work perfectly. All that was required was to clamp the pieces securely, and the rest was really quite easy ... the tool cut cleanly and smoothly, and I never felt like there was any danger of a kick-back. I will state, however, that I followed the advice of another reviewer here and bought a CMT blade with it, so I can't speak to the quality of the stock blade. I'm very pleased with my purchase ... I assume it won't be as robust as the models costing $100 more (and up), but I believe it's going to be a very good tool for someone like me who won't need it very often.

Great biscuit joiner for the price. Cuts clean and accurate. I HAVE SEVERAL WEN TOOLS and all of then have performed very well. Only reason I didnt give it a 5 star is the height abjustment is not accurate. Not really a necessity anyway.

Have used this to create several cabinet doors. Easy to use and creates nice strong joints.

This did its job. Not the most refined tool in terms of ease of adjustment, but it still gets the job done.

I have only used this Wen and a Dewalt biscuit jointer. Don't really notice any difference aside from price.

Let me start by saying, biscuits aren't necessary for most panel glue-ups when there's a decent amount of wood surface area for the glue and clamping is done correctly. I decided to use this when I ran into a project with a panel build that didn't have a lot of surface area. I never owned one before, my first biscuit joiner. The machine is very well designed and simple to use. I have zero complaints. The panel ended up holding well. Did I need the added stability of a few biscuits? I don't know. Better to be safe than having to reglue a weak panel. As far as the tool review, I have no complaints. WEN usually includes a case with their tools. No exception here. For this level of tool, I appreciate that WEN can offer value (lower price for higher quality) compared to the much more expensive alternatives. I probably will never need a 2nd biscuit joiner. But if I do, this is the one I will buy.

It is probably not as accurate or easy to setup as say a Dewalt for three times the price, so not something I would recommend for a production shop, but for a hobby wood shop, it works just fine, and the price is right. The one complaint I have is that the blade that comes with it is garbage, it cuts with so much friction that it shifts the cut off the mark, and burs the cut. So spend $20 for a CMT cutter blade, which cuts like going through butter, this tool becomes a pleasure to use. Even with an additional $20 for a decent blade, the price is makes this a great deal.

Quite affordable compared to some others, came with enough biscuits to do some work. Glad I bought this tool.

Nunca me habÃa pasado algo asÃ.

While I like the machine's ease of use, I noticed that the blade that came with the machine was terribly dull, resulting in smoke from burning into the wood while trying to cut a biscuit slot.Apparently, I'm not alone, based on the YouTube videos I've watched. It's pretty sad they can't include an actual sharp blade with this machine.
