Correct way to use clean the mat
Our mat’s unique texture makes it easy to dump the litter. All you need to do is to shake the mat slightly. Then the litter hidden in the mat is gone. Made of vinyl, the mat can be vacuumed or be cleaned by warm water and liquid dish soap. The best soap should have a mild or no scent. That way, it won’t offend your cat’s sensitive nose when they use the litter mat. To protect the mat and make it last longer, machine washing should be avoided.

I love these. I wish they were a bit thicker however, I had one before that tore and a replaced it with another type of litter mat that was horrible. So I purchased another one of these. It keeps the litter from being scattered all over the floor. Would recommend this over other types.

I bought two of these. The first one in dark blue, but am now using it at my back door and ordered one in cadet grey for my downstairs cat box. The dark color showed every speck of cat litter, but the grey mat does not so just a consideration if you order dark colors. Second, I nearly sent the first one back because it was so full of creases from being folded it would not lie flat at all. I laid it out in the sunshine on my hot tub cover and after a few hours, the creases were completely gone! I had to do the same with the second mat, but works like a charm. These are large and do the job, very happy with the purchase.

Perfect size to go under a new larger taller cat liter box as our 2 cats were making a huge mess! Our other one was way too small. Smells like plastic, so be aware to air out a bit first. But made a big difference on clean up. Lays out flat and heavier weight.

I am super happy with mine. It collects the litter perfectly when my kitties climb out of their litter box. Usually I can just pick it up and dump the litter back into the box. But it vacuums up really easily and well also. I've even used a small hand broom and dust pan and it sweeps off pretty easily too. It doesn't slip and slide a lot around either. I highly recommend this mat to any kitty parents.

Left new mat with 3 cats for 2 weeks . When got back there were holes bitem through whole mat and pieces all over my apartment. Not sure what happened but it did not survive my cats .

Within a week a hole mysteriously showed in the mat? Not sure if it was from the cats or?? I hid the hole under the litter box now but not impressed for what I paid for it.
