I chose this item because of the manufacturers weight eating in it. I started buying and selling bicycles that need work and I work on everything from single speed cruisers which are pretty heavy to light road bikes. The fat Tire Bike in the picture weighed close to 60lbs and the stand held it fine. Overall itΓ’β¬β’s solid and it does the job well. The clamp arm is made of aluminum and seems to be heavy duty. The internal locking teeth seem to work very well I have had no issues locking it or having it slip on me. The clamp itself is plastic and seems heavy duty as well. The 3 legs dont seem to be long enough to keep it from wobbling when adjusting gears but thatΓ’β¬β’s ok because you donΓ’β¬β’t really have to crank the pedal that hard to do so. It sometimes swivels around also if you pedal too hard while itΓ’β¬β’s in the air.My only complaint is something that I knew would be an issue when I looked at this item. The clamp is adjusted and engaged with a wheel type hand screw. It works well and locks tightly, but if you are hold a heavy bike you have to be able to do so with one arm for 10-20sec while you tighten it. ItΓ’β¬β’s not a major problem if you work on road bikes or light mountain bikes but if you have cruisers, ebikes, fat bikes or whatever it can become a problem.Overall IΓ’β¬β’m very satisfied. This is a heavy duty item and at the price I paid for it I am certainly getting my moneys worth and then some. And unlike other stands at this price point I do not think this will have any parts on this break or malfunction.I would recommend this stand to anyone who is on a budget, anyone working on heavy bicycles, or for someone looking to add a second stand to their workspace but doesnΓ’β¬β’t want to spend a ton of money for a quality stand.

Well made, sturdy, and very easy to collapse. I knocked a star off due to the chrome plated bolts/screws used and the plastic teeth used in the clamp bar for rotation. Regarding the chrome plated screws, I washed my bike while it was on this stand and it worked great. However, the next day there were some rust spots on the frame bolts. I cleaned the bolts and put bike grease over the bolt head and surrounding area and will see if this helps prevent the rust. For the rotation, those plastic teeth will wear quickly if used a lot. This is not that big of a deal as the clamp does take time to clamp a seat post while you have to hold the bike suspended. I only plan to use it primarily to clamp the top tube, so very little rotation for my use.Overall for the price this stand is a great value for light use with only minor issues. The stand is sturdy and the clamp holds the bike securely.

There is a right way and wrong way to use this bike stand. (See Photos) The bike clamping arm is designed to work by making sure the mounting arm is in line with the tightening knob on the stand itself. Do not try to use the clamping arm at a right angle to the tightening knob. I did it the wrong way first and the arm couldnΓ’β¬β’t support the weight of my RadRover ebike which weighs close to 70 pounds. The clamping arm can swivel in almost any position you want but you will get the most support when the arm is in line with the large tightening knob. When I reconfigured the arm in line with the tightening knob, the stand easily handled the weight of the bike. I was very impressed with the ability of this bike stand to support the weight of the bike. The tripod design has really good stability while the bike is high in the air, and it never felt tippy.I kind of miss a handle bar support rod, but I simply used a bungee cord to stabilize the handle bar.

I've been using this regularly for 3 years now. It's decent but has issues. My bikes weight from about 20lbs to 30lbs, it's not great for bike much over 25lbs as it's a little spindly/shakey.The main issue is the plastic front gripping jaw is cracking (see picture) I wish I could order a replacement piece? Maybe I can?Unless you can but replacement parts, you're probably better off spending more and getting something with less plastic parts.

Another review noted that for the best stability, line up the arm holding the bike with one of the legs. Or, make it so one leg is perpendicular with the bike. This makes a big difference.I have a large fat bike that I converted to electric with a mid-drive kit, so that makes a pretty heavy bike. I used this stand to help with the conversion and it did pretty well. There was a time or two, torquing down on bolts, it wanted to slowly tip towards the front or back of the bike, but I was holding on to the bike already so nothing happened. Other than that it works very well. I am satisfied. I wasnΓ’β¬β’t expecting the performance of a floor mounted stand in something thatΓ’β¬β’s made to be portable. It works well for its intended purpose.

RETURN. The lock mechanism will not even hold the weight of the center tube with nothing on it. . A complete waste of time.

This bike repair stand work better than the other bike hand I bought. The clamp work well with bigger frame bike or unique looking bike. I have a Nireeka Prime ebike and it is bulky, regular bike hand does not work at all. The sturdiness of the stand is great. I lifted the bike about 2 feet up the ground and it does not seem like it has a problem. For the price, this is much value for the money than the other bike hand that cost 50 to 100 dollars more.

This is the ticket for a feasible carbon bike stand. I had previously purchased a two leg stand and there was no way it was going to stay upright. As it is best to secure on the seat post, the bikes equilibrium point shifts forward and becomes weight forward. This stand allows you to swivel the clamping arm independently from the legs so you can dial it into the most sturdy position.It was extremely easy to setup (pretty much ready to go out of the box) with the turn of a couple screws to calibrate the quick release clamps it was good to go.My only concern will be the teeth of the pivot up top where you adjust how level the bike is once attached. It is the weakest point on the stand and will be the breaking point if it comes to it.
