Finally, a heated mattress pad that is comfortable and works correctly!! There are 10 settings of heat and the Sherpa means you don’t feel any wires! The auto shut off works perfectly. The only thing that is a minor problem is the control panel is only lit when you change settings or turn it off. Which is fine with me I like it doesn’t stay lit up. Great buy!! I love it.

The left and right sides have totally separate controls, and each has a separate power plug. The display backlight goes off a few secs after it is set, making it hard to read the display in the middle of the night. A wireless remote control would have been nice, as would Alexa/Google integration. The heating wires can be felt through the material. The wire connectors are located in the corner, so the product can be installed with the connectors at the head or bottom end.

Overall, this is the best heated mattress pad I've had... although I can't say if it will last more than a year... all of my other pads have lost the connection on one side after one year! but for now, I like the yummy soft sherpa surface. The heat is consistent throughout and in the center and the high setting is plenty warm. the controls are a bit confusing at first, but I've figured them out and they work fine. I like that the light goes out so I don't have any annoying night lights. Also, the dual control plugs are on the bottom sides, so my feet don't feel the connectors. After weighing the pros and cons of all the other pads, I am happy to recommend this one

This makes sleeping so much easier! I have bad arthritis and it helps so much to have a warm bed to get into! This heats up quickly and I really like that it has so many options for temp. Sometimes a 4 isnt warm enough and a 6 is too high. It fits my bed snugly and the switch is easy to see and operate. (my last one--a sunbeam had a dial--hard to see and to switch temps. I highly recommend this bed warmer!

Its warmth combined with the cozy softness sherpa relaxes mind and body for a quicker and deeper sleep. Next morning, no aches and pains and ready to face the day.

The feel of the pad is very thick and soft. It adds a pillow top feel to your mattress. It’s Sherpa, it’s smooth and soft, so if you’re looking for a pillow top, sans the heat, it does that.The cords are the best design I’ve seen on a heated mattress pad. No plugs to hit your feet on during the night. They are positioned under the pillow top part of the mattress and to the side. Huge selling point! I’ve had mattress pads that I put the plug ins at the top of the bed (still in the way) but this was a nice positive.I like this is a 12 hour shut off - another selling point!Unfortunately though, as a heated mattress pad, it’s not good. It underperforms significantly. No, you can’t feel the wires, because they’re covered in Sherpa, but you can’t feel the heat either. I slept for 3 days on “H†high (10 level heat of 1-10 stages) and all three nights I threw a quilt over the top of my down duvet.It’s very slow to warm from the off position. So even after you turn it on and do your nightly beauty regimen, don’t expect to slide into the warmth of the sheets that should be preheated for you.Level H or 10 should be toasty- too hot to sleep in, but great to get that cold out of your bones and your feet warmed up quickly. Then reduce to a mid level heat is what I am looking for in a heated mattress pad.I read the reviews prior to buying and there were similar complaints that it didn’t get warm, but I wrote it off as there were a lot of reviews and Westinghouse is a good brand. I know defects do happen, so I bought giving it the benefit of the doubt, but I now have no doubt I made a poor purchase and am returning to Amazon today.Regarding the other reviews, a lot of people mentioned the cords weren’t long enough and the controllers were hard to use. I didn’t find this. The cords were plenty long and you set the temperature with the left button and the timer with the right. Not that hard. It is kinda a bummer that the light doesn’t stay on on the controller, but if you push any button on the controller it lights up immediately. Not a huge deal to me.In case I need to recap, I would not purchase again and am returning this one. I would blink in all caps: “Buyer Beware†to save you the trouble of having to box it up and drag to ups and wait for credit etc.just keep looking (like me) and you’ll find the right one, but this one is probably not it!

We like this mattress pad, we heat it about an hour before bedtime and let it run a few hours. We like a colder bedroom so this keeps us toasty warm to sleep. The cover is plush, it's extra deep for our mattress.
