  • Replace your wf2 humidifier filters once it begins to harden and/or yellow. Hard tap water means it has more minerals. Your filter absorbs these min.erals and will shorten the life of your filter versus a household with access to soft water.

  • While not necessary, you can maximize the life of your wf2 humidifier filter by using distilled, bottled water or filtered water from your tap. Additionally, flip your filter over daily to ensure the entire filter stays moist.

  • We recommend pre-moistening the wf2 humidifier filter by running it under water until it is soaked though. Once soaked, remove the cover of your machine, take out the old filter, and replace it with the new, pre-soaked filter.

We recently purchased a Vicks brand humidifier that you use filters in so you can use regular tap water instead of distilled. Happy to say these fit and keep our air moist during the dry winter months.

They don't last too long, they didn't fit my humidifier well and they have metal in the middle which I didn't like. They are alot cheaper than buying the name brand and technically function as needed.
