I like these clips for automotive testing because the jaws are slender enough to fit into most (not all) automotive plugs and get good contact on male pins. Same for electronics when a low current jumper is needed like when you need to attach standard multi-meter leads in a circuit for hands-free testing.They are great for testing small, plug in style relays. The clips only open about 1/4" but that is OK for most low current testing as they are only 22 gauge. They are fine for testing A/C clutch function which draws about 4 amps.The quality of the alligator is good for the price and they have good spring tension. They are not "Pro" grade, but for the price, you can throw them out when they lose functionality.

Works good bought a whole set. I got tired of always trying to make a jumper wire and decided to get some premade ones that I could always use. They worked as I expected them seem to be a decent quality.

I gave them 4 stars just because the build seems a little cheap, but you get what you pay for. For the price they're great. I used them with my middle school science students and they held up fine. Only complaints is that the rubber sleeve over the clips aren't secure so they slide off of the metal clips and down the wire. I did have one come apart, but the other wires held up fine. Used in a water electrolysis lab and they lasted all 5 periods. Will definitely order more if I need to.

I was looking for simple not over priced alligator clips and these do just the job. The different colors make it easy to see what’s what on your circuit. I’ve used them a few times already and the clips themselves seem to hold up just fine. On one of the photos it can at least hold up its own weight without coming undone.
