It works and my son finds it fun, but it is super loud and you cannot adjust the volume. It's a thin plastic, but it holds up well to being hit and thrown once.

This is such a cute fun toy. My grandson loves it. It is easy to use and is well made for hours of toddler fun.

Needed a new outlet for the visiting little ones and they love this toy. Very easy to use and keeps those 3yr olds engaged long enough for aunty to use the bathroom, this factor right here is of immense value to me. The sound, colors, functions and durability are exactly what was needed.

I can read, I'm sure there are dimensions I didn't pay attention to. I bet I could have known the size before it got here. But I did not and I chuckled upon opening the box. This is small!It's tiny size actually worked out well for my purposes. My 13 year old asked for this as a joke gift, so the fact that it's comically tiny made that all the better.It is of average materials, but still really fun and functions as a whack a mole style game.This is not a serious toy. It is not a toy I would give to a young child. But my 10, 12 and 13 year olds are loving it!
