So here, for the enjoyment of my two 1/2-year-old grandson and me, is a Whack a Dinosaur. It is everything described, and it works. It is everything described, and it works. You get two soft-tip mallets that have storage on the whack-a-dinosaur board (but always stay there), and you can play in one-player or two-player mode with LED counters to see who's doing the best at whacking those din. The most exciting variation of this toy is the spraying volcano which is fun the first time we use the toy again again again but after the first time we use the toy it wasn't as interesting. It's still a good toy, just for fun, and you could also say that its redeeming value is hand-eye coordination. This toy is recommended.

It’s a great way to develop hand-eye coordination while having fun.However, the volcano feature was a bit disappointing. It doesn’t seem to serve its intended purpose, which is sad. While it doesn’t significantly impact the overall gameplay, it feels like a missed opportunity to enhance the toy’s functionality. Despite that, it’s still a solid toy. If the volcano were functional, this would easily be a 5-star product.

This has been perfect for my kids. We have a 2 almost 3-year-old and a gifted for almost 5-year-old. This game bridges that developmental gap and allows them to play together in a way that is fun for both of them. The lights and sounds are fun and helps motivate the younger players to whack the dinosaurs. This also helps with fine motor development and processing speed. Overall definitely great value for our family.

This game is delightful with bright colors and sounds. The idea of hitting things in a structured manner is of course very exciting for my 5-yr-old! The quality of materials and construction is very strong and sturdy. I found the buttons are not intuitive and could not figure out how to operate each side at the same time for two players. I need to sit down and give it more time, which is tricky with a 5-yr-old user. Maybe worth a try for older kids. Great quality game board!

This whack-a-mole style game has been a lot of fun for our 3 y/o and 6 y/o to share. It is big enough for two kids to play with at the same time and has been a lot of fun for them. It is sturdy and constructed well and has taken a beating so far. Kids love it!
