I purchased several wheel blocks but I returned them all. I finally found this one that fits all my requirements:1. It has excellent grip and will not slide even on smooth surfaces.2. It is substantial and solid so the car will not push it around.3. Yet it is not too heavy (3.5lb each)!4. The whole block is solid good quality rubber instead of plastic or plastic with thin rubber strips.5. It has a curve surface for the tire to rest on and that creates more contact to grip the tire.6. The size is just right (it is compact) that it is not too bulky to carry around or for storage but big enough size to fit regular car tires and has enough height (4.5").Love it. It is a keeper!!

These chocks seem very sturdy. I tried driving my Hyundai Sonata lightly against them in forward and reverse on a typical concrete driveway and they held firmly and immediately stopped my vehicle's motion dead. I felt safe working on my car on ramps with these in place.They are a bit hefty, although they are not designed as completely solid wedges. While this surprised me it doesn't seem to effect their sturdiness. There are cavities designed into the undersides that reduce material and cost in addition to weight, I assume. The integrated handles really sold me because not only are they helpful for handling, they also add the option to tie them together.My only wish is that these chocks were a few inches wider, like more "pro" level chocks. Then I could just throw them quickly against my tires and feel secure that they were covering the tire width without needing to get down and check that they're lined up just right. But I'm inexperienced with chocking vehicles, so this may be my ignorance speaking.

These solid rubber chocks are so much better than the cheap plastic ones that Wally World and other big box retailers sell. The textured bases grip gravel and dirt really well, and the rubber itself is sticky enough to also be secure on asphalt, concrete and smooth garage floors. Well worth the added weight.These are physically smaller than the hollow plastic ones, but so far I have had no issues with these slipping when used with either car/truck wheels or a travel trailer with 15" off road wheels.

Chocks have good value. Nice hefty rubber material with enough “grip†and weight so that it will not skid on garage floor (coated) or other concrete or paved surface. Obviously not so good on gravel, soft or other non-paved surfaces. Had to let the material “gas†out a couple of days to get rid of the rubber smell but really was not so bad. I liked how this chock is contoured to the surface of the tire with a curved interface so that contact with the tire surface is maximized rather than with those with a straight inclined plane. Price/value is good. Width is adequate balance between covering tread width (it is only about 75% of the tread width of my tires) and being so wide that it would take up too much storage in the trunk or be too heavy for convenience. I keep two of them in the spare wheel well of my car (for roadside emergencies) and two of them in my garage (bought a set of 4). If I need to fully chock two tires as in the case of raising the entire rear of the vehicle necessitating chocking both sides of the front tires (which are not attached to the parking brake), I can always just grab the two in the trunk and use them in the garage. Due to the finished surface of my garage, these work very well compared to either plastic or metal chocks which tend to slide on the floor surface. Overall, very pleased with this purchase.

These are not made of cheap plastic, and have great grips on the bottom. Would highly recommended them.

Well made and very sturdy but, wow heavy!!! If you have a large rig that needs chocks, theses will most definitely Work for you. I did not realize how big And heavy they were. I have only a small trailer and the plastic cheap things will work for me. Anyway, yup they’re awesome good and sturdy.

Love how strongly built these are. Seems to grip the concrete fairly well although I may have had ones in the past that did a bit better. They are fairly compact which can be either a pro or a con depending on how you want to use them.
