Five of my pairs of exercise pants in different colors look dressy enough for office wear and I just rotate through them. Some are more than two years old and the elastic at the waist is dead.I learned a trick to make a little cut inside the waist and insert this white sewing elastic to run in the groove with the original. Problem solved!The elastic seems to keep its stretch quite well. A couple of these pairs of pants have had their new elastic for a few months.In fact I bought this elastic a second time to rescue and repair more pants in the same way.Life is good when a simple thing is reasonable priced and fulfills its purpose. This elastic worked out so well when i was trying to fix my granddaughter's dress by putting in a new elastic. It stayed nice and flat, doesn't roll like some others might. It was also easy to thread the elastic through the casing i made by using a safety pin. And the amount that is sold is perfect as many of the other products had way too much elastic for my diy projects. this worked out perfect for the few projects i have.

Previously ordered 1 inch width, realised it was too thick so cut it in half width wise. Next time ordered 1/2 inch thick. Was ridiculously weak, should've stayed with my previous instinct.
