We had both furnaces get flaky when the renter didnt pay his bills & the gas & power were cut off, last winter. We had the older, bigger version from about 1987. We bought the smaller, less expensive, newer, open-box version & it fired right up, without incident! Our suggestion would be to get a set of good-quality vinyl wire labels to label all your wires before ever taking any wires loose! 100Ùª mistake-free!Also, carefully consider the placement, because this unit is more compact than the 1987 version. On one Trane, we turned the unit upside-down to minimize wiring lengths. We used existing wire.On the second Trane, it has a tiny peephole to view the LED. In the original, the user had the squat down & look up to see the 1987 LED. We carefully adjusted the mounting so that the user can see the LED while looking down. In fact, the user can stand fully erect, across the hall, to view the LED.We highly recommend these as replacements! Note that after 10 to 15 years, the ignitor get oxidized & are slow to warm up. The first sign is that the unit is typically lighting on the second try. Consider replacing the ignitor to save time & trouble. In our case, these two $80 units saved us from having to replace perfectly-good $5500 Tranes! Plus you get to have the satisfaction of accomplishment in a job well-done!The supplied user manual that comes in the box is excellent & details the exact cycle lengths, so you know what to expect as the Trane lights up!Get one today! Keep those old Tranes rolling!

This was a great economical replacement for my Lennox 50A65-120 control board. Only wish it came with a spade connector for the flame sensor. You’ll have to solder one on if you want to make it work. Everything else was plug and play

My American Standard furnace was not lighting up. I determined it was the fact that the controller (CNT03076) was not providing the ~24V AC to the gas control valve during startup process. I powered the gas control valve directly from the furnace power supply (24VAC) and confirmed it was opening a closing so I know it was not the control valve or mechanical. Relay on the main board must have gone out that provides the 24VAC. Replaced the board with this one and all is good. Its been in operation for a month now. Allowed me to test and clean all the other components of the furnace like the limit switches and pressure switches etc. This was a great learning experience. Just take photos of all the wire locations when replacing. There are quite a few to keep track of

My inside AC fan would either run all the time, even when thermostat was removed, or would just run a few minutes then stop. Seems like it reset after turning off the breaker. The outside unit was still controlled by the thermostat, i.e. would run when it got warm in the house, even if inside fan wasn't running,The LED on circuit board (integrated furnace control (IFC)) in the inside American Standard furnace/blower unit was on on continuously. Diagnostic code listing on IFC sheet said that meant IFC board (this purchase) needed to be replaced. Some YouTube videos said to replace the relay on the inside blower, but on my American Standard AC/Furnace, it was integral to and soldered to the circuit board. The new integrated furnace control (IFC) was pretty easy to install, ended up using existing plastic fasteners and removing fasteners from new circuit board as this was easier than trying to removed them from the furnace. All electrical connections on new board were in the same place as on the old board, so I just removed wires/plugs one at time and connected them to the new board. It worked great, inside blower now responds to thermostat.Had an AC tech out to check freon levels a week later and he said he'd have charged me $485 to replace the IFC and that 98% of homeowners wouldn't try to replace it themselves.

Our AC was short cycling on occasion. Hvac service techs had different reasons and fixes yet the problem returned within hours to days. Not bashing them because i understand the difficulty in diagnosing something that sporadically fails. i had the opportunity to go over everything one morning when it was short cycling and noticed the condenser relay cycling differently when i moved the wire bundle going to this board. After closer inspection found the solder connections around various pins had failed probably due to age and a blower motor that vibrates more than it should. i re-soldered the pins for a temporary fix while waiting for new board to arrive. Change over straight forward. Shut off all power, take various pics of connections or label wiring and start swapping wires from old to new. i did one wire at a time and did a double check before powering up. Only difference between old board and new was the three dip switch positions needed changed. I would recommend this seller and item.

I bought this board to replace the 50A65-475 control board in my Trane furnace. I'm not sure why the old board failed but there were visible burns on it, and it was over 10 years old. This is the updated part and was a direct replacement. Very easy to install for an average handyman. I just took multiple pictures of the original wiring before removing the old board, then made sure to reconnect all the wires in the same positions. My A/C and heat work perfectly again, and this saved me a fortune compared to hiring someone who would be installing the same part.Edit 1 year later: Still working well without issues.

Direct compatibility with my Trane XR80 mid-efficiency furnace. I had intermittent issues (4 flash code - “high limit switch”) and checked all the usual items and determined the board was the problem. Quoted $850 to replace same. Easy DIY job if you have basic skills $ save hundreds of $$.
