My son finally found a pair of shoes he loves! My 7 year old has a wide foot and we have such trouble trying to find shoes that fit well. Because his foot is wide, we have had to go up in size so that the shoe will even go on. Then we deal with shoes being too big and flying off his foot because he doesn't need the "length" of the shoe. I own two pairs of Whitin's and when I saw they had child sizes, I had to try. I followed their size guide and got him a size 4. He tried them on and said "mom these are so comfortable!" first win. He walked around our house and then started running and they stayed on, second win! He has no trouble getting them on or off. Whitin quality is excellent. I will definitely order Whitin shoes for him again.

I looked for shoes that give wide comfort. My son has wide feet which have made it so hard to find nice style shoes! We will be buying more of these. Size 2 wide was the perfect fit for my 7 year old. Love the velcro making it easy to slip them on and go!

These wide toed barefoot sneakers are perfect. They are very flexible. The one thing I like best is the wide toe box. I think it is important for development in children’s feet, especially. By myself has an adult pair and love them just as much they take a little getting used to, but then they are comfortable.

I have a big kid who has motor issues and can't tie shoes. We spent forever trying to find velcro shoes for him before school started last year and couldn't find any in stores. These shoes ended up suggested to me on here and they were an instant winner! He can slip them on and off easily, and the "laces" are elastic and don't need to be tied at all. The wide toe box is nice too because they give him a little more wiggle room! They also look "cool" and not like grandpa shoes, so his classmates don't know the difference.

This are perfect for PE:1. lightweight and breathable2. Washable.3.Optimal grip and maneuverability. Non-slip.4. Wide toe and comfortable for medium to wide feet.5. Since we sized up, our kid can't use this yet, he tried them on and he liked this sneakers, at this moment I'm not able to tell their durability.

So happy to find wide shoes in a 13 and with velcro and elastic laces! Just perfect for my 4.5 year old, he can easily put these on himself. They are also just good basic black shoes that match everything and are easy to clean. We just went on a trip and brought these and another pair and these were worn almost every day with no pain or blisters, etc. Great little pair of basic shoes! They do have that knit material on the top so they will not be good for lots of dirt, sand or rain, but fine for general wear!

So I normally buy my son nice footwear - think stride rite, new balance, Merrill, Keen…. his proper foot development is important to me.THIS sneaker is more like what I would get for myself - I love a wide toe box and zero drop is nice (but I am just not into the barefoot shoe thing).THESE ARE UNEXPEXTEDLY GREAT!!!Nice wide toe box, zero heel drop, with slightly cushioned insoles. These look very normal/non-descript (which I appreciate). I also really loved how these came packaged together - no bulky box, etc. Very secure and efficient means of packaging (and those boxes are just something else to get crushed, unlike these - they don’t moosh, really ingenious packaging)!Overall 5 stars.

I bought these shoes for my son and within a month the sole is peeling off and there’s a hole forming in the toe. I’m super disappointed in the quality of the shoe, and I can’t find a way to contact the company in any way.
