This fits great on our old metal ironing board. The fabric is pretty, thick and soft. It looks like it will hold up well in the washing machine. Happy with the purchase.

I have had a positive experience using Whitmor products over the years so I was expecting this product to perform well- happy to say it did not disappoint! The standard replacement cover is made of cotton, which makes it durable and naturally resistant to stains and heat. The cover has a substantial amount of padding (It is not VERY thick but thicker than most covers that I have used in the past) that provides an additional layer of protection and makes for a smooth ironing surface. This cover fits standard size ironing boards and is quite easy to use. The price is reasonable and the warranty gives me peace of mind. So far, I have no complaints.

I read reviews. Lay down the cover, set the ironing board on top then pull the string. Super easy, good fit, looks great.

I always check reviews before purchasing an item. Sometimes after reviews are posted, the items change. I'm not sure what happened here because I found this cover impossible to fit on my ironing board. It has a drawstring on one end and you are supposed to pull on it while trying to fit it over the other end. You need very long arms! I did get it to stay on the board but was unable to continue pulling on the drawstring to get an even remotely snug fit. The ends were somewhat snug but not the sides. The result was loose material on the board itself, making a very unsatisfactory fit. It was very disappointing! It was returned.

You get what you pay for. It's a pretty fabric and a decent cushion. However, some of the pictures show full elastic around the cover - like a fitted sheet. The product I received did not have that. Rather, it had some elastic and a draw string on the wide end and one strip of elastic, running side to side on the pointy end. I didn't even try to put it on the board, because I cant imagine the pointy end staying in place when I slide a sleeve or pant let onto it. If you just need something on top of the board, and you really need to budget, this might work for you. I do a lot of ironing, so I need something higher quality.

Replaced old cover with this pad and cover by Whitmor brand that is what I have been using each time I buy one. The pad built into the cover is heavy enough for my ironing needs which is daily with either flannel shirts..jeans and other wrinkled things. This size cover stretched over board with enough edging to fit snug after pulling cord with latch as tight as I could get it.

This ironing board cover fits perfectly. My board is a standard size. The pad is thick enough. There are no chemical smells. It has one continuous elastic around the edge. No string to tighten. Simple. The colour is fresh and bright. This was the best-priced cover on Amazon.
