Notices before use:
1. Microwave kiln must be padded kiln paper, otherwise the glass will stick on the kiln tray. Need to replace with new kiln paper every time.
2. If the microwave kiln is wet, the kiln paper is black and yellow instead of white. So the microwave kiln storage to be moisture-proof treatment.
3. Do not put the hot microwave kiln on the microwave oven, wood products, plastic cooling.
4. Do not open the microwave kiln when cooling, cold air instantly into the microwave kiln high heat environment, will cause damage to the microwave kiln.
Instructions:
1, Using a larger size microwave oven. Microwave kiln should be at least 1000 watts for best results.
2, Clean ready glass and kiln tray.
3, Kiln paper cut larger than glass pieces, put it on top of the kiln tray.
4,Place kiln tray into the microwave oven. Cover the kiln lid and set the microwave temperature as "HIGH",heating around 6-8 minutes.
5,The hole in the top glows orange when the kiln is at fusing temperatures.
6,Carefully remove the kiln wearing insulated gloves to kiln shelf for cooling about 30 minutes when firing is complete.

My sister just got this kit from me for her birthday, but it came with no instructions as to how to use it. I'm disappointed that she got something she can't use until she gets instructions on the internet.

Other reviewers said the kiln was small but I didn't think it was that small. I was hoping it would be big enough for at least two pendants. I put three USA quarters inside for comparison. It did come in a bundle of goodies to try. After I use it I will know for sure if I want to continue to pursue this hobby. I'll buy a bigger one in the near future if this experience is a good one. Buyer beware the kiln is tiny so know what you're getting into before you buy.

I gave it one star because it arrived on time and what it stated was in there was there. However, the glass cutter can't cut through hot butter, and I guess I'm just supposed to know how to use everything including the kiln as there were no instructions nor video to watch. The glass was just scraps of cheap glass that looked like it was swe pt up with a broom and dumped into little packets. I'm sorry I wasted my money.

This came packaged well however with no instructions reference sites or information on how to use it. It also lacked a key piece of protection paper and broke the first time we used it. Threw it out just not even worth more stress of returning it

I had a bigger one but felt the need for another and decided on the smaller one. It heats up in half the time too.
