After using this solar panel for a full season I am very satisfied with the result, the feeder has run six months on the same battery.Gave it a four on ease of installation because I had to fabricate a simple bracket to mount it like I wanted, so be aware some fitting may be needed. Wiring is simple and straight forward, just make sure you use sealant around the hole the conduit passes through and zip tie the extra to prevent raccoons from pulling it down.I am going to convert all of my feeders to solar after this test run because it has worked so well.

Everything appears as described. It appeared to charge well, was easy to install, and overall a good value. I can’t speak to its durability or performance for an extended period of time as the bears got ahold of it well, it no longer functions.

If you have 6 volt deer feeders you'd be crazy not to have one of these on it. They will keep the battery charged and make it last much longer that cycling a little battery. I leave my battery in the feeder all year and get at least two years out of a battery thanks to these.

This is an absolute must if you run a deer feeder. Easy assembly and mine works very well keeping my battery charged. My feeder is set for twice a day for 15 seconds. Battery is always fully charged.
