These are real cast iron so they are pretty heavy. This should translate into heavy duty and last for years but I am a little worried about the wooden handle as it is already a little jiggly.The hamburger press is not really suited to smash burgers as the grooves are rather deap. Make sure you clean them immediately and re-season every time or they will be impossible to take care of.

These things are wonderful for cooking burgers, steaks and bacon. You have to use caution your fingers don't touch the hot case iron where the wood handle attaches. They saves a lot of cleanup by capturing grease splatters, especially with bacon. The bacon cooks evenly and lays flat.

Not satisfied with delivery! My delivery was not pleasant! My package was saturated with some type of liquid! The shape that the box was in, the driver should not have delivered this package! These are food grade items, & I don't know what this liquid is, or if my package can be used!!!
