I ordered this set to make Sesame Street cupcakes for my one year olds quarantine birthday party and they came out great. I’d recommend refrigerating them until you’re ready to use it, just to firm the icing up a little that way it isn’t too messy. The icing is pretty easy to use, can get pretty messy so take your time. The icing comes out watery at first when you squeeze it, so squeeze it onto a napkin first. It tastes really sweet, like all icing. It comes with a star tip and round tip. I used the star tip only. And the packaging is easy to decorate with.

Convenience... my daughter and I visited at least 5 stores to find these colors for holiday decorating. We gave up and I searched on Amazon. This is a great hassle free product. Perfect for decorating, flavor is good. Price is what you'd pay per tube combined in any store. This is about convenience and saving gas money lol.

These were fun and tasty. I’m not a cake decorator, so my designs were nothing to write home about. But the number of colors helped to make my birthday cake very cheerful and fun! You get A LOT of icing. And there are 2 tips included. One is round for writing and drawing lines. The other is star shaped. The round tip needs to be unscrewed to reveal the star tip. That wasn’t so evident to me, but I read it in a review or on the icing’s website. Unused icing can be stored in the refrigerator for months. I used chocolate as the base icing. For my tastebuds, I think vanilla would be a better base, being in the same type of flavor/sweetness family. But still yummy and sweet on chocolate.

So this is my second review, because as of my first one I had yet to actually use the product. I bought it for my daughter's birthday, and the package came wet with red leaking onto the other colors. There was a small slit in the plastic, so I didn't even bother trying to use that one. Then when I started using the others, there was so much oil coming out even after kneading and shaking them. After the oil was done coming out the actual frosting was so wet that I couldn't pipe with it. I had to put them in the freezer just to harden them enough to use. My cake would have been so much better if I hadn't used these and just dyed some frosting myself. I'm so disappointed that this basically ruined my daughter's birthday cake, but I didn't have enough time to buy anything else. That's what I get for not just making my own, but hey it's Wilton, and I expected much better.

They tasted good, except for the blue frosting. The pouches came greasy but nothing a damp napkin didn't fix.

Delivered quickly. However red package looks like it leaked. All the packages in the box were greasy, as if something spilled all over them.
