I love these. I use all three. I put Morton's Kosher Salt (coarse salt) in one and the salt comes out a good rate, not too much and not too little. I have that same salt mixed with ground pepper 50/50 in another and they come out nice together. I have McCormick GrillMates Montreal Chicken in another as I do lots of boneless, skinless chicken on the grill. AS FOR COMMENTS REGARDING THE LIDS...these are thin metal dredges that require just a tad of finesse to screw on the the lids. Why? Because the threads are wide and forgiving. Because they are wide and forgiving, means that it is very easy to misthread and effectively "strip" the lid and "freezing" it in place. Just be gentle and if it binds, stop and start over until the lid threads on securely. You also should not and need not to tighten it down very hard which could also cause thread lock. TIP: I cut a quart size ZipLoc bag in half and discard the zip lock feature. Each leftover square serves as a perfect cover for the dredges, secured with a simple rubber band around the rim to "seal" the dreadge and keep moisture out. Happy Grilling!

Hey, the price was right, I've now got three dredges filled with the same thing (Flavacol), so when one walks off with a bowl of popcorn, I still have the other two for use in salting vegetables or popcorn or whatever. Don't go shaking these things hard until you get used to how much comes out, because it's easy to overdo it with finely powdered stuff. I don't know if these will rust over time, but for the price I certainly can't complain.

We LOVE these! I have one for powdered sugar (great for waffles or fruit), one for cinnamon sugar (great for coffee or cookies), and one for cocoa (no idea what it's good for, haven't used it yet). These shakers are good quality and the holes are just the right size. I printed labels to go on the side of each one, we'll see how long those stay on.

Two of the three units were perfect, but one was pretty much bent a bit and wasn't finished properly. I found this out by cleaning it and putting my hand inside to dry it and getting cut by burrs. They forget to finish one properly. It wasn't a bad cut, just one little bandage. I showed it to my hubby who is Mr. Machinist and he took it to work to get it finished properly with some kind of machine shop tool to smooth those burrs.Otherwise, two were great and I only need two. I'm pretty happy. If you get one that needs de-burring and you have no machinist with tools to hand it off to: find a metal nail file and file those burrs down.Thank you.

The (3) pack is great, they arrived much sooner than expected. I filled one with salt, one with pepper, and one with a salt/pepper mix. They hold a substantial amount of salt or pepper, easy to clean and the handle is great. A word of warning, if you're using these over a pot or pan with steam or oil splatter, it may get into the shaker, but a quick shake back and forth will loosen the salt or pepper up and ready to go again. If you plan on making a spice/seasoning mix, you may want to make sure the holes are large enough for the spice to get through.

LOVE THERE SHAKERS!! Before I use them, I wash them well, then use a permanent marker to write an “Sâ€, “P†or “G†for salt, pepper, or garlic powder on the top of each lid. They work wonderfully and the handles on the side ensure you have control over how much seasoning you disperse. Note: works well for cinnamon-sugar too!!

I ordered the three pack and they work perfectly! These are for you if you like alot to come out at once! I use as salt and pepper and rub. The salt I have to be very careful with! I love pepper in my food and this shaker is perfect for that! The one I use for rub is excellent as well!
