I used this plug on a Buick V6 225 cu inch engine water pump heater port. It was easy to install and works perfectly to hold hot coolant at approximately 220 F. The screw and washer are made of stainless steel so it should last a long time.

I was trying to use these to temporarily plug a 1/2" plastic water supply line. I was able to get them to fit, but no matter how much I tightened the wing nut the water still leaked. To be fair, the pipe wasn't rigid so it may not have been the ideal application for this product.

I bought this rubber plug to replace a stripped oil drain lug on my lawn tractor. It works perfectly! No more oil dripping from my tractor onto the driveway. Great product! 5 Stars!
