I wasn't a fan of my last ukulele capo as it was a screw type capo (it took too long to put it on & take off). So I decided to see what Amazon had to offer ... When checking out the ukulele capo's, I almost skipped over the one for Wingo because it didn't mention it fitting a Tenor Uke in it's title (something Wingo should correct in the future - although it did mention it in the description). Anyway, I decided to give it a try as it was a good price. The capo not only fit my uke but it did it's job well ... with no buzzing. A good capo for a good price!

This capo works great with my son’s uke! I thought it was going to be solid wood but it is metal that looks like wood instead. Hence the 4 stars. Overall, it works and looks nice, just wish it was real wood.

I got this capo for my ukulele. It is a perfect fit. It does not require massive strength to use. It performs perfectly. It is exactly what I wanted.

I've used the Capo quite a few times and it hasn't failed me yet. It's absolutely perfect for playing songs in a different key. It hasn't slipped at all or made my instrument sound weird!!

I bought about 10 of these for my students that I teach ukulele. So far, they work great! Perfect size that does not interfere with playing (as sometimes full sized capos can). All of them still work great and have kept their tension very well. Overall a great product.

This capo is the perfect length for my concert ukulele. It grips the neck gently, yet firmly enough to serve its purpose. The wood finish is a nice touch and it blends in better than I thought with the look of the instrument.

This capo looks great, especially if you have a woodgrain finish on your instrument. I have a natural finish uke and I also have a mandolin. On the uke it's fantastic! I clip it to the headstock and when I need it it's a quick pinch, position and release. Done. It's awesome compared to the screw on style one that this replaced. On the mandolin, it's just as convenient, but not quite as functional. Could be my style of play on the mando, the additional string tension, or could be the clamp strength, but I find while I never have to reposition on the uke, I do have to reposition a little on the mando. Definitely wouldn't have prevented me buying this though, especially for the money. So if you're using this on a nylon stringed instrument like a uke, you'll love it, especially for the money! If you need it mainly for steel/brass strings with high tension, you should be fine. But if you're really picky about your gear, spend more on something purpose-built for a mando or one that screws into place so it never wanders.
