Very happy with these skates. The heel picks really do work well in stopping the feet from sliding out from under the skater. My son was able to get moving on his first time out. Both my sons love these.

I’ve been in the game for 25+ years and have coached kids at levels ranging from mites to college. Recently got a pair of these for my 4 year old son who’d been struggling with confidence. In conjunction with lessons, he’s gone from barely being able to stand with a walker to pushing the walker away and skating all by himself. They’ve also been helpful with the process of learning how to get up off the ice as the blades provide the initial stability needed for that skill. I explained how they work and I can see that he’s less scared of falling (of course he still falls, but he’s excited when he “catches†himself with the back of the balance blades) and he’s excited to get out there whereas before seemed apprehensive. I’ll definitely be recommending these to the younger kids I coach.

These skates have helped all three of my kids learn to skate safely and with confidence. The features do as advertised and help young skaters feel confident. My youngest started on these skates at the age of two and was skating completely on his own, no push aids, before his 3rd birthday. He has progressed through the USA skate levels quickly and his instructors are amazed at his abilities for his age. I have had the privilege of passing on these skates to other new skaters and they have enjoyed the same success. 10/10 would recommend over any other skate for new skaters.

The skates were comfortable and the correct size. They helped my son tremendously, doing exactly what they said, keeping him on his feet. He had more confidence and more fun, I fully recommend these skates.

The product description wasn't clear enough to explain the shoe size. I didn't realize that "youth" meant that the size is actually twice as small as an adult size. It should've been more clear
